The legend (and all-consuming power) of Pavanostache continues to grow
Jun 27, 2010, 10:30 AM EDT
It’s too late. We have reached the point of no return, my friends. The Pavanostache has become all-powerful. Over the past several weeks, Pavano, who has been known as a middling major league pitcher up to this point in his career and his ever-increasingly wicked cool mustache have melded together to become one self-aware, lineup-mowing-down entity.
Need evidence to corroborate my outrageous claims? Look no further than Pavanostache’s performance yesterday in New York. For the second consecutive game, Pavanostache bested Johan Santana as it went the distance, giving up only three hits on the way to dispatching the New York Mets in a 6-0 shutout victory for the Minnesota Twins at Citi Field. In its previous start last week, Pavanostache ceded a measly four hits in nine innings as it outdueled Phillies ace Roy Halladay in a 4-1 win.
But how did this occur? At what moment did Carl Pavano the pitcher and his mustache cease to become separate entities? These questions are far too difficult for someone like me to answer, but as I have mentioned before, do not fear Pavanostache, but it would be wise of you to remain in awe of its power.
More photographic evidence of the epic magnitude of Pavanostache after the jump. But be forewarned, depicted in the following manner of succession is not for the weak of mind. Hold steady and be strong otherwise the Power of Stache could get you too.

Guess the teams that play him in the future have to grow their on stache so they can compete.

Somewhat off topic but i believe we may need to add an asterisk next to his future achievements with his performance enhancing stache, perhaps it shall read bowchickawowwow or letters to that effect.
