Tiger Woods-themed aerial banners set to fly over Pebble Beach

banner.jpgRemember those witty banners that flew over Augusta National at the Masters earlier this year mocking Tiger Woods? You know, the ones that read “TIGER DID YOU MEAN BOOTYISM” and “SEX ADDICT? YA, RIGHT. SURE. ME TOO!”
Well, we have good news for those of you who happen to be fans of witty repartee in the skies. According to some yahoo at aerial banner ad company has confirmed to TMZ that two banners with sarcasm directed squarely at the surging Tiger Woods will be flown over Pebble Beach during the final round of the U.S. Open today.

Ted from NationalSkyAds.com says he has been hired to fly two banners over Pebble Beach today. The first will say, “TIGER: ARE YOU MY DADDY?” and the second will read, “HAPPY FATHER’S DAY TIGER LOL.”

Nice. Hey, I’m all for doling out shots at people who deserve it, but what I would like to know is who commissioned this company to fly these banners? And how do these individuals profit from it, if at all? I am only speculating here, but It is almost like this was done solely to subversively attract attention to some mysterious, behind-the-scenes orchestrator of chaos. But who? What kind of depraved entity would be willing to stoop so low? The mind reels.

    To NBC broadcasters:
    Tiger is a gifted player, and we want to see his excellent shots. But please don’t dwell on him this Fathers Day and ruin our day. I respect his talent, not his person.
