Latest Elin divorce demand: That new $80 mil Jupiter Island mansion

So remember the $80 million mansion that Tiger Woods is building on Jupiter Island, Fla.; the one with a 9,500 square foot gym, lap pool and an oxygen therapy room? Yeah, Elin Nordegren wants that as part of the divorce settlement. She also wants, according to several sources, $750 million, and full custody of the kids … but you knew that. The good news for Woods, says Radar Online, is that this is a sign that Elin wants to keep the children close to Tiger. Hmmm, with good news like that, who needs bad news?

“Tiger wants to be near his children,” a source familiar with the couple’s situation told RadarOnline.com. “They are definitely moving forward with the divorce but there are a lot of issues to be worked out.”

While no divorce papers have been filed, Tiger and Elin’s marriage is all but over. They barely speak to each other any more, live separately and have both hired lawyers. Elin is reportedly asking for $750 million.

Woods may still be a great golfer, but he’s a lousy poker player. He’s already shown his biggest tell; by revealing that he wants desperately to see his children on a regular basis. Now Elin has even more leverage to get anything she wants. Not only does she have 121 mistresses she can parade into court (including several porn stars, and, allegedly, a couple of children fathered by Tiger), she can tell him that if he doesn’t meet her demands, she’ll pack up the kids and move to Iceland. Or the moon. There’s lots of places you can go on $750 million.
As Michael Corleone said about Hyman Roth in Godfather II: “He played this one perfectly.”
With all of this hanging over his head, one might think that it might effect Tiger’s golf game. Well, we’ll never know, apparently. From Tuesday’s U.S. Open press conference at Pebble Beach:

In an otherwise uneventful 30-minute chat with media members Tuesday, Tiger Woods addressed topics from the status of his sore neck to the status of his marriage. To a question about what’s up with him and wife Elin Nordegren, Woods had this reply: “Um, it’s none of your business.”

    I read some time ago that the house in Jupiter Island, that is almost completed, was designed by Elin, way before the scandal and that this was to be their family home. Elin and the children should get the house as part of the divorce settlement for everything that Tiger has put them through since Tiger has caused Elin and the children enough pain and suffering to last them a lifetime!!!

    I feel like Tiger has done all he can do to try to make amends to Elin. He does love his children, and it seems to me, that all Elin is interested in is the money she can get out of Tiger!! Hmmm!! That sounds familiar. Just like all of the others. I thought she had more class than this.
    Tiger, will always take care of his two children, and Elin for that matter. She doesn’t deserve everything he is worth.
    She sat at home, going to tennis matches etc. while he was making the big money. Why wouldn’t she go with him?? I have read where he would ask her to go and she didn’t ever want to.
    You do not turn a young man like Tiger loose and not be by his side.
    I am not taking up for Tiger, he should not have ever cheated on her and gotten a divorce a long time ago!!

    Let’s see, 121 different women, golden showers, children out of wedlock and who knows what other lies! And you want to know why she wouldn’t go with him? If you husband did that to you……….father……..son-in-law? What he did wasn’t just cheating, it was disgusting! And what Elin is doing in this divorce is nothing different than anyone else would do except for the fact that Tiger has a whole bunch more money than us.

    Elin, cool it girl. he made a mistake and he knows it. see if you can try to work things out and continue your life for the better. Money is a short time satisfaction.
    WORK IT OUT GIRL!!!!! YOU WILL HAVE A BETTER LIFE AS A RESULT OF IT. I have seen it a few times around me and working things out is a much better option. we all know that you still love him.
    WORK IT OUT AND YOUR TWO BEAUTIFUL KIDS WILL BE BETTER OFF TOO.

    Spoken like a true gold digging woman…its terrible what he did and he should pay but no reason she should get that much of something she didn’t earn. He wont fight her because of his public image and she knows this, so she will try to suck him dry…opportunist.

    It still baffles me why in a divorce, Elin deserves half of Tiger’s wealth. She didn’t earn shit herself, so why does she get it? I know it’s like the law or whatever but it doesn’t make any sense if you look at it. Tigers wins the tournaments, makes the commercials, sells the golf clubs, what does she do to deserve a 80 million dollar house? Just cause she was married to the guy for like 5 years and has some kids with him?
    She should get some but not that much. She probably doesnt even any of the house work.

    Enough already she is now using her kids to get more than she needs, to me she doen’t care about what her children wants if they want to see their Dad she should not be putting a price on that be a Mother and provide what matters most LOVE and allowing your children to see their Dad and work out your own problems in private. The home in Jupiter was for All of the woods family including his Mother now she doesn’t want her there either !!!!!!!!
    Get over it others have and moved on Think of the CHILDREN

    Judges, Lawyers, and Courts have elected over the past 5000 years of Civilized human and marriage Relationships that women who elect to marry often surrender and make sacrifices in their lives:
    1.They abondon their careers and focus on motherhood and being a good wife and making a wonderful home environment for Husband and Children…and
    2.Marriage is supposed to be until death do you part and is manifested by a loving, honoring, and being faithful relationship to your spouse are the key requisites.
    3. Courts know that being unfaithful to your spouse does and should be punitive and compel stringent financial penalties to the abuser. In Elin’s case, when Tiger has to surrender his fancy $80m house, and a good portion of his Billion $ assets, this will not entirely ameliorate the emotional, psychological, social, and life long humiliating memories that Elin has and will confront.Tiger is a golf jock, and his agents parlayed his fame into big bucks for him. His contribution to the process…play golf well and do some non-intellectual commercials and rake in the big $$. I suspect that with about 200 Bedroom indiscretions under his belt, that when Elin gets about $600 M of his money, each piece of ass will have cost him about $3,000,000. Moral of Story: Keep your fly buttoned at all times Eldrick.

    Tiger did nothing in front of his kids. His parental rights remain intact. It is only because Tiger declined to press charges that Elin wasn’t prosecuted for assault with a deadly weapon. A Felony to strike a sleeping man in the head with a golf club.
    So if if she gets too grabby, his lawyers can still press charges, and then we’ll see.

    Poor Elin. Yes, Tiger did her wrong. But please, she comes out of this smelling like a rose. Think about all the women who get treated the same way and get nothing. Poor Ellin.
    Wish all these no it alls would just move on and find someone else to tear down.

    Tiger and Elin both should get on their knees and thank the good Lord that he even has 1 home, much less many mansions and billions. People today are suffering and they have an 80 million dollar home to fight over, jets, yaachts, mansions and lavish everything. I dont pretend to know about what Buddhist believe, but whatever he was practicing didnt work for him. He should try real Christianity, there is power in forgiveness. Maybe he and Elin could try it not to save the marriage but for the children. They will have to at some point coexist as parents and participate in raising emotionally healthy chldren.

    Judy for what Tigger did, she should get it all. A man that can not control himself when he has everything is a man without control. That man should not have a family until he has sowed his oats, cause once you are married you make promises. I don’t care how many women/sluts throw themselves at him. He has to think of his children at that time, not the female body. He is a weak child that has finally gettting his due and his game is suffering for it. He can say his neck hurts but it is really his pride that hurts. He now has to act like everyone else does and follow the same rules as everyone should. You are siding with him, LOL. Saying his wife should be there to keep him honest, she is his wife not his mother. He is suppose to be a man not a child that needs watching – GROW UP.

    Just out of curiosity, how much money/income has Elin added to the nest egg since she quit the nanny business? That’s right, nada.
    How many tournaments has she won? How many legendary putts has she made? How has she influenced the millions of dollars brought into a sport by just showing up? She bought the house, land, and other property in Sweden – exclusively for her and the children using WHAT income she’s contributed to this marriage??? That’s right, nada.
    Tiger’s been a total and complete @ss – absolutely. He’s made a tabloid spectacle of himself, true. He added to the specacle by going to rehab…followed by that gosh awful press conference. Nothing is going to mend this mess that he’s made. Now that it’s about Tiger’s money, I now hope that he wasn’t foolish enough to revoke the pre-nup.
    Something tells me that little Elin is going to be just fine. After all, she can always go back to that nanny gig. I hear that it pays well…ha ha ha.

    Tiger would be foolish to give her 750 million dollars and if it is true that she is seeking that amount then she isn’t worth it. After all before she met and married TIGER she posed NUDE and was paid for the pictures so it easy to see it was MONEY with TIGER so no wonder he wasn’t faithful to her, because her main interest was MONEY not LOVE. She showed no respect by not even attempting to show any public support at any time for TIGER. There is plenty of woman out there for TIGER maybe one that will love him for he is.
