'Officer down! Officer down!' Cop ran over during Stanley Cup victory parade

When an estimated 2 million people pour into a city’s streets for a drunken, rapturous, mass celebration, it is inevitable that bad things will occur. Actually, as the dust settles and the haze of yesterday’s revelry begins to lift, it is somewhat surprising that the worst thing being reported out of Chicago regarding the total madness of the Stanley Cup victory parade is that a cop got run over by an ATV driven by a fellow officer.

Don’t worry, the word on the street is that the police officer is fine and no worse for wear, but after watching the video, you have to say she’s pretty lucky she only suffered minor injuries because she really got nailed. Ouch.
