Two days before the kickoff of the World Cup, and as you can see Maradona is sticking to tried-and-true practice methods with his Argentina squad. Such as lining up the losing side after a scrimmage and letting the winners blast shots at the losers’ butts. It occurred at the team’s University of Pretoria High Performance Centre base, the one where Maradona recently demanded all rooms must be painted white, six Playstations for the players, ten hot dishes to be served every day, every dinner must include three desserts and ice cream must be available at all times. The London Daily Mail has dubbed the coach’s practice sessions The Madness of Maradona, which can’t be good.
I see nothing here that didn’t occur just about every day in summer camp. The problem is, the World Cup ain’t summer camp.

This is the kind of behavior I’d expect if Bill Murray were coaching your soccer team. From Unprofessional Foul:
Credit Maradona for switching things up. Forget the monotonous routines of passing drills, set-piece simulations and lots of brisk jogging… he prefers the high school humiliation method.
I’m sure it’s great for team bonding and mirth and all… just imagine if Messi or Higuain had suffered an injury amid the mayhem.
