Video: Guy makes cell calls while surfing; apparently there's an app for that

This probably isn’t the first time this has ever happened, but its the first time a photo and video of it have been sent to me. So here we go; a guy talking on his cell phone — and taking a video of himself — while shooting a curl. Just what we need; another distracted driver.

His name is Sterling Spencer and this occurred in Mexico … by the absence of oil, I’d guess the west coast. Quote: “Bizarre…the reception was good actually, other than crashing waves in the background.”
Because he doesn’t mention the brand of phone, I’m pretty sure the video isn’t for some commercial.
