German fans prefer World Cup to sex

As Coleman said in the final scene of Trading Places, why not have both? But you’re missing the point here. When asked by Reader’s Digest what they would prefer: Watching their national team in the World Cup, or a night of sex, 95 percent Germans said that they would prefer the beautiful game (that’s soccer). The other five percent were disoriented by Sarah Gronert.
This should come as no surprise to those who follow the German national team, which leveled a 20-under squad from South Tyrol on Tuesday, 24-0. Not only were they junior players, but South Tyrol isn’t even a country; merely a province. The Germans just considered them collateral damage in their quest for the Cup. And so it is with sex, apparently. When soccer glory is at stake all is (in Col. Klink accent) “Ex-pendablllle!” To wrap up, there will be no babies born in Germany in March or April of 2011.
