When last we left Charles Barkley, he was saying on Fox Sports Radio how fervently he supported the people who are boycotting Arizona due to their new anti-illegal immigration law. Sample quote: “I’ve always said if America, instead of trying to bring up this issue every couple of years to get elected …Ya know the governor she’s not even a real governor. She’s the interim governor. She’s trying to get elected and John McCain is trying to get back in the ballgame from getting his ass kicked by Barack last time.”
But as we see in the video above, Charles can be bought. No one at the TNT desk seems to be boycotting Lolo’s Chicken and Waffles (two Phoenix locations), which hauled in the free grub during a Suns-Lakers telecast at the US Airways Center. Many Arizona businesses may be hurting due to boycotts by opponents of SB1070, but thanks to Barkley and pals, Lolo’s is in no particular danger at this time.

When is this WHITE HATING, BIGOTED idiot going to get booted from TV?? The illegals don’t bother people in gated communities, so he doesn’t see the problem. Mexico has QUALIFICATIONS to enter their country, we can do the SAME and we don’t need anyone’s permission to enforce it.

What a stretch. So, a guy gets a work assignment in Arizona and he shouldn’t eat while there?

keith, the only time anyone complains about black people being bigoted is because they think it’s unfair that the’re not allowed to call black people N*****. I agree Barkley says dumb outlandish stuff but that’s what they want him to do, you don’t have to take him seriously.

Well, Neil, I think the point is that if Charles is so behind the boycott and up in arms with the Arizona law, maybe he should put his money where his mouth is, and either not eat the food from that restaurant or refuse the work assignment in Arizona in the first place. If he really wanted to make a statement, his refusal to work in Arizona would be far more eloquent than anything he has said so far.

Wow, nice language. You must be educated. Barkley IS a racist. Racism is not only one way (towards blacks). But I would assume someone as eduacted as you would know that. :0

yeah when white people are persecuted for thousands of years, moved, enslaved, treated as 3/5 of a person, segregated and paid less then we can talk about two way streets. As for my language, you need to use strong language on message boards because no one will read or care if you type a well argued point. Diction and syntax are proof of intelligence like this message board is a great medium for serious discussion. Calling people uneducated is a pretty classless move by the way since you don’t know what their background is. Not everyone has the same higher education opportunities

Boycott Arizona, they starting to get the point. We will get the bigots to understand racism has no place in the USA.

Suns eliminated. Can we go back to ignoring Arizona now?

There’s never a call for your type of language. And it does paint a picture of your “class”. There’s strong language and then there’s your language. That’s no class. Your race points are ancient, get over it. What century are you living in? I’m living in one that gives minorities more opportunities than whites. More programs, grants, etc…
But back on point, Charles is only out for himself. Of course he’s not going to boycott Arizona when he thinks nobody’s looking. Especially if food is involved.
