Airplane basketball shot inspires lame comments from TV hosts

Apparently it only took two tries for this Texas A&M student to sink a basket from a crop duster … who would have thought that a guy shooting from an airplane would have a better free throw percentage than Shaquille O’Neal? Anyway, following the jump is a video of this guy scoring from way outside — and his pals getting a little too excited about it — in a stunt sponsored by GMC for the NBA Finals. It’s all very cool, until you find out that the group has named itself “Dude Perfect,” and that there’s a GMC truck parked conveniently in the middle of the camera shot. Also, the idiotic banter by CBS Early Show hosts doesn’t help at all.
