Poor Alex Rodriguez. Dallas Braden’s 15 minutes of fame just keeps getting longer and longer and longer …
Here’s a preview of tonight’s Late Show With David Letterman Top Ten List, featuring your favorite Oakland A’s perfect-game hurler, taped at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, where the A’s are playing right now. Braden isn’t pitching tonight; it’s Trevor Cahill getting the start for Oakland. Cahill was first called up last season, and has a 10-14 lifetime record in the majors. Anything you want to say to him, A-Rod? You know, to get his career kick-started?

    Why would Arod feel bad about Braden getting more attention. He said the ’15 minutes of fame’ quip just to dismiss the issue. Arod has a $300 million contract, does he care if Braden goes on Letterman. What a stupid comment.

    Who’s Dallas Braden???? There’s a reason why he’s on Letterman and not Leno.
    And yes A-Rod is a future Hall of Famer. He need not mix it up with a….what’s his name again?

    Dallas Braden is one of 19 men in the history of baseball to throw a perfect game. (in other words – he’s no hack)
    A-Roid takes steroids, tips pitches to other hitters, and wears make up while posing for vogue or some other gay shit.

    I’d be able to root for this kid if he had an ounce of class, which clearly, he doesn’t. A-rod is a Hall of Fame player… Braden, is not… or at least it’s too early to tell. This whining little kid is milking more attention over A-rod walking on the pitcher’s mound than it warrants. Grow up Braden…. you’re playing among men, act like one.

    Braden doesn’t have a ticket to the HoF just because of his perfect game, and yes he got lucky, look at his numbers, he’s no doc gooden in his first few years

    whos Dallas Braden? That one guy who threw a perfect game against the best team in baseball, thats who. Arod on steroids i hope he doesnt get in the hall of fame he cheated. If arod gets in no reason why Pete Rose shouldnt. And for u what, if u know baseball u know the a’s always develop good arms, i wont give u any names because u might learn something today. I know by ur comment u dont know baseball.

    Bill noone is putting Braden in the hall of fame, give the kid some credit he did what only 18 others had done before him out of all the pitchers who have pitched in the big leauges. Hes only gonna get better. he is still young. dont be a hater bill.

    @jaided Rose, please, Rose agreed to be BANNED for LIFE so he did not go to JAIL. As for whether ARod should or should not make it to the hall, that should be decided with the other users, and only them. Braden did great, lets see how he handles being known for something good instead of being a whiney player who made a big deal out of nothing.

    big deal out of nothing, im sure u never pitched or played baseball in your life. a pitchers mount is his terriotory not for a hitter to get a shortcut to first after a foul ball. disrespect. the game of baseball is all about respect, and how are steroid users gonna decide if they go in the hall of fame thats just dumb. They cheated, they shouldnt have a damn word to say about that. They should ban themselves if they had respect for the game.
