In which we are reminded once again that sometimes, it’s better just to take a stroke. The last time I ran this photo, it was in conjunction with a story about a golfer driving his cart off a cliff. Some readers were unamused at my perceived insensitivity, and an angry, torch-wielding mob congregated outside the office where I worked. Which was weird, because it was the middle of the day. Now comes news that a 66-year-old golfer in New Zealand fell off a cliff while playing a round at Howick Golf Course in Musick Point, near Auckland.
He was found after a worker noticed his golf buggy, located just metres from the cliff edge, had not moved for 15 minutes.
And once again I can’t help myself. Hey, he survived, OK? “It was a Titleiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiist!”
