Morning Tweet: Quite frankly, allergies are very debilitating!

May 2, 2010, 10:45 AM EDT

Pity poor, poor Stephen A. Smith. When he’s not blasting out your eardrums with his “Loud Talker” tendencies on his radio program or writing columns for The Philadelphia Inquirer, he’s a mover and a shaker, frequently making the scene at A-List events.
Unfortunately for SAS, his dang allergies prevented him from watching Floyd Mayweather, Jr.’s unanimous decision over Shane Mosely last night in Las Vegas. At least the Las Vegas PD didn’t have to get involved to secure Smith’s safe passage to the fight, like what occurred to Smith at the Super Bowl in January. That’s nice.
Sunday already? Morrissey once sang that “Everyday is Like Sunday” and the song’s tone is melancholy at best. Obviously, Morrissey wasn’t a big sports fan.

ABOUT LAST NIGHT…
What you missed while snorting nasal spray to become more empathetic to your better half…
* The Joslyn James “Wiggin’ Out’ game at TMZ is mildly amusing, much like her desperate attempt to cling to her 15 minutes of fame.
* John McEnroe defeated Bjorn Borg in a match in something called the Champions Cup. It’s interesting because they’re old.
* Tim Tebow is learning how to become a real, live NFL quarterback! That’s why you take a guy like him in the first round.
