Reportedly obsessed with a novel written by Lady Diana’s biographer, in which a woman’s children get cheated out of her ex-husband’s inheritance, Elin Nordegren is pushing for a huge cash settlement in her impending divorce with Tiger Woods, says the Chicago Sun-Times. Nordegren continues to have talks with “a battery of lawyers,” and plans a divorce settlement hoedown (sorry, typo) showdown with Woods in two weeks. Just how much cash is Elin willing to settle for?
Supposedly, the Woods divorce settlement would fall into the $500 million to $600 million range.
Elin Woods supposedly is concerned about ”locking-in” specific times where she can live in Sweden with the couple’s two children.
According to the source, Elin is mostly concerned about protecting her two kids’ financial interests. She recently read a book about a very wealthy man whose children from the first marriage got screwed out of their inheritance by their father — influenced by a second wife who wound up with the lion’s share of the money.
”She’s really obsessed with that book,” said the Elin intimate, reporting the book is Empress Bianca, a novel that reportedly is a thinly veiled fictionalization of international socialite Lily Safra, written by Princess Diana biographer Lady Colin Campbell.
Radar Online says that the divorce proceedings will get underway as soon as Elin returns from Sweden.
Elin is close to her family, especially her twin sister. She’s returning from Sweden within two weeks and that’s when events with Tiger will come to a showdown, says the source.
But if Elin returns to Sweden, it could create problems with Tiger, who wants to be able to see his children regularly.
Yeah, that’s a brutal commute; especially with the volcanoes.

Don’t blame her at all. A little passage of time,a few wins on the tour, a new wife and she and the kid’s will be a distant memory. It may be a lot of $$$ but it is relative to his earnings. She has earned every penny so GO GIRL!

the laws in this country screw men over…tiger woods would have done better just having girlfriends and kept his money much like he’ll have to do now, bet it will be a long time before he even thinks about marriage. it was only a matter of time. if a woman marrys a rich man and she has nothing. trust me she’s not in for love she’s in it for the money. she’s just waiting for you to f@ck up and she’ll cash in.notice she did’nt even try to reconcile or seek a marriage counseler. lesson learned? hell no, alot of rich guys hookin up with a pretty faces. the reason why divorce law practice will always be a lucrative business
