Soccer will never catch on in U.S. with plays like this

I can think of no more spectacular way for a soccer player to fail than this. It’s Saturday’s MLS match between the LA Galaxy and Kansas City Wizards, and Wiz striker Kei Kamara finds himself with the ball, about a foot from the open net. Of course he managed to miss the kick, land on his keister and hit the ball with his hand, negating everything and making Baby Jesus cry. Galaxy defender Gregg Berhalter: “It was one of the most unbelievable things I’ve seen in soccer.”
