White Sox bathroom sex incident, now in video form

Apr 19, 2010, 4:00 PM EDT

All hail the Chinese-language tabloid Apple Daily, for bringing voice to the voiceless, light to the darkness, and, um, pants to the pantless? Recently we read about the unfortunate incident at the White Sox opener at U.S. Cellular Field, in which a man who was taking his six-year-old son to the restroom stumbled upon a guy having sex with a woman in one of the stalls. Of course he complained to the media, and of course we were all horrified … that there was no video of the incident. Apple Daily, which has provided us with so many entertaining recreations of the Tiger Woods accident and aftermath, has done it again. Here’s their computer graphic recreation of the bathroom incident, with some obvious embellishment. If an organ in the men’s restroom isn’t some sort of Freudian reference, I don’t know what is.
Video following the jump.

Thanks to The Sporting Blog for bringing this to our attention.

As you can see, the video comes to us via Adult Swim Nightbeat, and I’m not sure on the nature of its collaboration with Apple Daily, or even if there is one. Perhaps they provided the English subtitles? I’m going with this as an Apple Daily creation until I hear otherwise.
UPDATE: An Adult Swim spokesman says: “Adult Swim contracted Apple News Daily for 13 of the mini-news segments you see on adultswim.com, including the Bathroom Sex at Sox Game. Apple News Daily handles all of the animation and the writing is done in-house at Adult Swim. Additionally, Adult Swim oversees the animation, providing notes and direction at each stage.”
