Enterprising reporter knocks on door of infamous Phillies vomiter

Apr 16, 2010, 11:30 AM EST

Yes, this is the Cherry Hills, N.J. home of Phillies fan and vomit enthusiast Matthew Clemmens, whose exploits we chronicled earlier today. A dogged reporter from NBC10 TV is knocking on the door, but Clemmens isn’t answering … and we know he’s home, because no way this guy actually has a job. The greatest thing about this screencap is the fact that a guy who purposely vomited on an 11-year-old girl at a baseball game has a heart-shaped wreath on his front door. I’m guessing the doormat reads: “Please wipe your paws,” or perhaps “Welcome to our nest.” Excerpt of voiceover from the video:
There was no answer at Clemmens’ Cherry Hill home today. A woman pulled into the driveway and left, refusing to speak to NBC 10.
Come on Clemmens. we know you’re in there!
Video following the jump, including a shot of the section of Citizens Bank Park where the crime occurred!

Fun fact: As Michael Vangelo was being interviewed, a fan caught a home run and proceeded to give the ball to his daughter. Well played.

A typical animal from that part of the country. Im always amazed at the conduct of the Jersey and Philadelphia thugs. Im surprized he only had one black eye. Had it been my daughter he was throwing up on, I would have put that rabid dog into a coma. I actually would have enjoyed my light jail sentence for putting him down forever.

1.) It’s POS’s like this scumbag that just perpetuate the mostly unwarranted bad rep that Philly sports fans get. (Yes, I said MOSTLY unwarranted)
2.) Deanna Durante can “wipe her paws” on me whenever she wants.

The guy was beat up by Philly fans. We’re not all bad. Just a lot of a-holes around here.

Ok Darrell, so let me get this straight. Being that you seemingly reside in a much “better part of the country” You feel that you are thus able or entitled to label a seperate part of said country with a very condescending mannor. To go as far as to project that they are animals? Do not be mis-informed, I like you, see this individual as having poor ethics and is very VERY misguided (frankly put he’s an ass hat), but to rant off a poorly thought out generalization of such demeanor not only lowers you to his level, but that type of thinking is only a short step away from the thinking that brought about racism and likewise the not so distant nazi holocost. So before you go about commenting in the future about other people or other parts of this country (of which I take it you yourself belong) do or say, why don’t you pause first and think about the way you will be portraying yourself.

I would like to segregate the animals from that area, from the regular good citizens that I would hope is the majority. Unfortunately, whenever you hear of bad behavior at “a stadium”, it all-to-often happens in that park…. Why is that? Ive been a lowly Brave and Falcon fan for 30 years, and God knows our fans would have every reason to yell out obscenities and fight a rival fan for enjoying another Brave or Falcon defeat. But, we dont do that. You mentioned this guy up there had “bad ethics” and was “misguided”. C’mon man, dam ! These people were spitting on his daughters! Throwing beer and water on them ,and throwing up on them. At what point does ANYBODY else watching the game “around those seats” get up and come to that man’s defense. When? Only when this animal begins to throw up on THEM do they strike out at him. What about the half hour of hell this man and his daughters went through BEFORE that. Are there no gentlemen up there in that park that can step up and do something about it?
Okay , not everybody up there is an animal, but dam, arent there any good people that can help a Dad with his two young girls out? Dam.
