Totally reasonable: Guy buys LSU stadium sign, puts it in his backyard

I had a unique opportunity this morning to help a friend of mine add the ultimate LSU lawn ornament to his back yard. Besides already having the iron baseball gate from the old Box, he bought the sign that was on top of the scoreboard. It took seven of us, along with a gooseneck trailer to maneuver the thirty foot sign across Baton Rouge to his home. We saw some very interesting faces from people and neighbors as we made our way across town to deliver the sign to its new resting place!

When the Tigers built a new Alex Box Stadium, the old stuff had to go, so why not buy the scoreboard sign and put it in your backyard? And here’s the good news for this man’s neighbors; the sign lights up, and apparently the lights are still operable. More photos here.
