The Tiger-Elin divorce is apparently … on again. I repeat, the divorce is on

Apr 14, 2010, 3:00 PM EDT

Please adjust your schedules accordingly. Every time Tiger thinks he’s out of the doghouse with wife Elin Nordegren, they pull him back in. As Our Hero finished his comeback at the Masters, Elin took off for a vacation without him; Tiger then jetting off for a separate vacation with the kids. According to People Magazine, Elin is again furious, this time over the new Nike ad in which Tiger’s late father, Earl, imparts black-and-white wisdom from beyond the grave.

“Elin was violently angry over this commercial and thought it was a cheesy thing to do,” a source told People.com. “She wouldn’t have gone near the Masters under any condition, but that just made her madder. She is over Tiger. I wouldn’t be surprised if she files for divorce sometime soon.”

Woods had rented an extra house in Georgia in case Elin decided to join him, but she rebuffed his efforts.

My favorite part:

At home in Florida while Woods competed in Georgia, Nordegren didn’t watch a broadcast of the tournament, using the TV instead for movies and videos for the children.

However, I do hear from my own sources that one of those videos was the episode where SpongeBob and Squidward play golf.

“She’s so far beyond hurt now. If she were angry or if she hated him, they might still have a chance to work it out. But she’s beyond that. She’s numb. She just doesn’t care anymore. She’s like, ‘Whatever.’ Elin’s not the type to get all weepy or have pity parties for herself. She mourned the loss of this marriage, and now she’s moving on. It’s the only thing she can do.”

No source is that blabby; that has to be made up. Unless the source is Elin’s mother. Entertainment Tonight, meanwhile, is saying that the divorce is imminent.
In actual golf-related news, Tiger’s behavior at Augusta National is also under fire. Sample tweet from random club golfer today:

Frank_Healy: That would be me or Tiger Woods – RT @syncinprogress: The golfers seem awfully angry this morning. Who shouts “F— off!!” at the 11th hole?
1 minute ago from Echofon

Also unamused: Jim Nantz. The CBS lead announcer lit into Woods during an interview with Mike Francesca on WFAN on Monday.

“If I would have said what he said on the air, I would be fired,” said Nantz. Nantz took umbrage at Woods for saying “You suck” to himself, as well as uttering a one-word phrase generally considered to be sacrilegious.

“Guess what? Phil Mickelson had a camera in his face all weekend,” said Nantz. “Did you ever hear him come close to approaching that? He didn’t hit every shot exactly the way he wanted. Have you ever heard Arnold Palmer or Jack Nicklaus use that kind of language?”

Funny how JayLouGolf starts questioning Gail’s facts… Do you know how Arnie’s Army was coined?
The 1958 Masters was the first year that soldiers from nearby Camp Gordon were offered free admission and were recruited to run the scoreboards at Augusta National. Palmer, a U.S. Coast Guard veteran, played his way into a tie for first with Sam Snead. Palmer won over the troops and most of the rest of the crowd. By the time he teed off with Ken Venturi on Sunday morning, Arnie’s Army was officially born.
Before you get critical about other people’s facts, know your history you moron. Better yet, pull your lip over your head and swallow. Stop wasting our oxygen by breathing….
