So to me, Tiger’s biggest mistake lately has been to go off to play in the Masters, and not stopping the magazine subscriptions to the house. Evidently the long-suffering Elin Nordegren read the recent Vanity Fair piece by Mark Seals, and was not amused; storming out of the house and rethinking her decision to try and make the marriage work. This is according to Bill Zwecker’s column in the Chicago Sun-Times.
Meanwhile, only two-and-a-half hours until the big Tiger Woods Masters press conference. We’ll have highlights of course. But the big question now seems to be, will Tiger give a fist-pump after a great shot during competition, or will he low-key it? Hope someone asks him that.
A Woods source tells me the story made ”Elin even madder than she was already,” and reportedly convinced her to rethink her earlier decision to stick with the marriage — ”for the time being.”
According to the source, it also finalized her feelings about next week’s Masters tournament.
”While Elin pretty much knew she wasn’t going … after reading the Vanity Fair story, she became totally committed to avoiding that circus — and made that very clear to Tiger, in no uncertain terms.”
At Augusta, there’s a difference of opinion on how Woods will approach the celebratory nature of his game. Will he be reserved and contrite, or will the old, competitive first-thrusting Tiger come out? I’m sure you can find betting odds on that somewhere.

what’s even funnier is a good percentage of men who are saying it’s no big deal would totally FREAK if their wife had sex with even one other man one time, let alone emulated Tiger’s behavior. Any famous female athlete “caught” in the same scandal would be CRUCIFIED in a way that Tiger’s public shame could never compare to!

If Elin can’t take this kind of heat. She should work out a very friendly deal with Tiger on the kids and leave the kitchen. And Tiger should let her go, if that is what she wants to do. But she better be very careful. Because I suspect she will not find a better deal than the one she already has. Her “Cheese” market will be good looking Gigolo’s just like Tiger, but without the ca’ching$$$. They wouldn’t want to have a thing to do with her mixed race children, even though they’d fake it to get close to her. And their only goal would be to try to drain her of the Tiger funds and tap into his bank account through her and the kids.
My advice to her would be forgive and move on. Stop reading the trash journalism. Stop getting angry over a past she can’t change. Focus on a future she can help shape with Tiger and the kids. And to seek avenues to become Tiger’s best friend instead of the gullible, victim wife. Get involved with his business interests, career and decisions. Enjoy his huge capacity to generate enormous wealth and riches. Do that and just maybe they will find love peace and trust again on a completely different level.
And most of all she needs to see this media and bimbo blitz for exactly what it is. They are aggressively trying to get her to divorce Tiger so they can move in and occupy her space. Don’t be a fool Elin. You already have the Kids, and Tiger at the edge of his rope. DOn’t give up the Luxury you already have for a potentially worse fate without Tiger.
The nature of Men is that they are born risk takers and hunter/gatherers. To a greater or lesser degree, we all cheat or lie about something to get what we want. Right now a slimey subterranean interest want Elin out of Tiger’s life so it can move in. And if this article is correct (I doubt it) she may be falling for this sucker punch.

To all you selfrighteous @sses. Tiger didn’t need to apologize to anyone in the pure fact. Had the media left his private as just that then if or when he got caught such words would of been between husband and wife. Whatever the outcome would be that. You all are just expressing your issues with Tiger because he’s a household name. There are plenty of Pros, actors/esses, CEO’s, polictians, your neighbor or even you know a friend that got done at the Xmas party. High profile, powerful people to the common have had their share and share of problems. Com on we all know the stories, why? Because Tiger is human like the rest of us and although not all women and men cheat obviously. Men are more commonly the perp the woman the victim, why? Because is usually men in power position as you see make headlines, but we know the common person can be just as guilty of such acts. SO why don’t all you coming down on Tiger get on some kick/cause for all women betrayed by their husbands? Do a march, run a marathon and raise money for the victims? If your gonna call out one person, then call them all out!! Take your moral high horse and ride in the sunset that you don’t have any faults. Tell what would your cause do? Guys will still cheat and another woman will be a victim of betrayal(just no different some well off guy will be a victim of his estate, hard work and money being taken when there was no love in the first place…oh yeah they are called GOLD DIGGERS). OH Elin had money…hmmm ok! But Tiger’s sure looks even better, so I sign a prenup to get at least 2-10million for infidelity. What would Tiger have gotten if she did? Nothing to loose, everything to gain.
And nobody knows if Tiger or the next guy will cheat again if they trying to make admends. Until he or they do the don’t say *hit until it happens just like you didn’t open your trap/crap mouth until he did something. Im not condoning, just trying to balance the story. No matter this story would be a story of beauty or disgrace because he is so famous. Let golf be golf with Tiger in or not. But more importantly let his private life be that whomever its with. No ones asking you for interviews on your marriage good or bad are they?

Tiger is a narcissist. Unfortunately we live in a culture of narcissism where it is even rewarded. A narcissist believes the world revolves around satisfication of their ego, so they marry someone attractive, and they feel afterwards they can do as they damn well please with them. As we learned “presentation is everything” and he purposely gave this public image of family man and hero…noone can say he didn’t…the did accept millions and millions of dollars of money from endorsements based on this illusion. Narcissists are very seductive, so I don’t hold Elin at fault ( or event the gullible people who believe in the redemption and false apologies of Tiger) ..but hopefully now she knows a little more about this type of person, and takes the next relationship a little slower, but in reality, life is a crap shoot, and we can never guarantee that we can figure out all the people with severe neurosis before it’s too late.

I think Tiger simply got tired of Elin. I don’t think that Tiger respected his wife. If he did then he only repsected her as the mother of his children. That’s where it ended. I don’t think that Elin was the woman that Tiger thought she was when he married her. That happens a lot. Whirlwind marriage then one wakes up. Tiger lost respect for Elin.
