Joslyn James, Gloria Allred planning Tiger press conference rebuttal

Brilliant. Moments after Tiger Woods concludes his Masters press conference today (only three hours to go! Did you let the kids stay home from school?), porn star and former alleged Tiger squeeze Joslyn James is planning a rebuttal press conference of her own, conducted by her attorney, Gloria Allred. You probably last saw this following the President’s State of the Union address, in which the Republicans got air time immediately afterward to poo-poo everything that that had just been said. The only thing missing today will be Biden dropping f-bombs.
Special guest appearance by Tiger’s kindergarten teacher? One can only hope. All this, plus Duke-Butler as well. It’s a great day to be a sports fan, kids.
Among the announcements at James’ press conference is whether she will attend the Masters … although how she plans to get in is beyond me. James is scheduled to be stripping at the Pink Pony is Atlanta this weekend.
The best part of this is that James’ press conference will include her and Allred watching Woods’ press conference. So you can watch James watching Tiger, I suppose. TMZ hasn’t announced if it will be live streaming the James event. Tiger’s press conference will be carried live on MSNBC, CNBC, ESPN, and a couple of other cable stations.

So here she is going after as much attention for her very prolonged 15 min of fame. And she wants an apology for what? That he is sorry for cheating on her whith his own wife? Where is her apology from all these women that slept with Tiger? Whether they knew he was still married or not, and they had to known he was, they still helped commit adultery. There are only two true victims….Elin and their kid. Why isnt Gloria representing the tur victim? Because she wont get as much money or air time.

I completely agree with Jeff.
For those who keep saying, “Tiger doesn’t owe anyone an apology”, etc., etc: you’re exactly right he doesn’t. His responsibility should now be to those children. But instead of doing that, he runs off to “therapy” sessions for a few months and now makes his first tournament appearance at the biggest one around.
Why? In my opinion because the only real thing that is important to Tiger is…. Tiger. That’s all he really cares about. It’s all ahout him. I just really could not care less what he does, where he goes, with whom he does it. As a parent, I really do feel for those children though. But that’s the way it is in our country now isn’t it? Build up these celebrities, put them on a pedestal, even worship for some fans – then tear them apart when the opportunity presents itself.
What Tiger has done is simply unspeakable. For those who want, jump on that one if you want – be my guest. But there still is a large part of the population who have SOME morals and dignity.
So, continue to hold him up on the big pedestal if you want. Tiger may even win the tournament this weekend. So be it. But just remember, what does that really mean? He was able to hit a little ball around over the course of four days fewer times than the others… wow, now that’s definitely important. Before you also jump on that one – I am a sports fan. At least I used to be before the mighty entertainment circus hit all of the major sports.
If Tiger goes on to win over 100 tournaments in his “career”, so what? He can win 25 majors… why not 30?? It doesn’t affect MOST of us and MOST of us simply do not care.
So, for those of you who will continue to support this have fun. I for one will spend time with my family instead of camping out in front of the tv. And (I also hear this reply coming) I’m not perfect either. I just try to keep my priorites in line the best I can every day and try to teach my children right from wrong and what is acceptable and what is not.
And those DO NOT include selling out to this kind of garbage.

For those of you complaining that Tiger is being treated special because he is a sports star, if he wasn’t would you know 1% of what you know now? You only know because he is famous, if a regular Joe did this it wouldn’t make the back page of your local free newspaper. The thing is, you didn’t elect him, he isn’t your preacher, he doesn’t teach at your schools, he is known for playing golf and playing it better than any player on tour today and maybe ever.
If he is to be punished it will be Elin to do the punishing. It didn’t affect my life or any of yours. Don’t talk about the bad example set toward your children because I guarantee your kids didn’t follow Tiger’s career that close. He hurt his family and his reputation and nothing more.
What exactly is to be gained with the follow up press conference is beyond me. I’m sure there is a lot of disappointment that Tiger’s money is staying in the family. This isn’t about Tiger, it is about his millions and figuring out a way to get paid which, in my opinion, amounts to prostitution at the least and extortion at the worst, both are crimes in most of the US.
I don’t want to hear all the BS that they didn’t know, that they were in love or that he even promised them some money. A promise without a contract is just hot air.
How many women that are with married men say, “Oh he is going to leave his wife” “He isn’t happy in his marriage” “He loves me and we will be together”? Wah-wah. You did it with him knowing he was married, it does not make you better than him, you are on an equal playing field because you contributed to the fall of his family.
One, how often does it happen that they leave the wife to go to you? Two, if he did it to his current wife what makes you think you are so perfect that he isn’t going to do it to you?
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, don’t marry a young famous millionaire with his own private plane and yacht who’s business (which is playing a game) takes him all over the globe for weeks at a time. I will guarantee that any man, and I mean any man, that is in his twenties, has millions of dollars in the bank, is decent looking and in great shape will have too much temptation to keep turning it away. All men love attention, even the most famous.
Sorry folks but this isn’t a moral issue, it is a decision issue. Elin gambled and married him. Elin is hot but there is no perfect woman out there. Variety is the spice of life and he had the means to have as much variety as he wanted. Whatever your moral or religious views are there are people that are the complete opposite and if you don’t want to let them believe what they want (within the law)you are just as selfish as Woods.
Tiger is famous for playing golf. How he conducted himself in is private life is none of my business just as he would not look my way if I was screaming for help. I love golf and I like watching him play. He didn’t break any laws, he didn’t rape, he didn’t physically harm anyone, he had fun and so did the women that were with him. I’m sure most of them had an eye on the end of the rainbow which was a longshot, an eagle, a hole in one.
I will be thrilled when this dies down but I don’t see that happening for a long time because I think the goal of a few of the women is to completely destroy his marriage, especially James.
The best part of all, does James really think that Tiger would be caught with her in public? This isn’t Pretty Woman, the rich guy isn’t going to do his high society romp around the globe with a porn/stripper. The playboy model maybe but not her.
There is only 30 seconds left of her 15 minutes of fame. Hopefully this stupid attempt at getting people to feel sorry for her blows up in her face and this part ends.
It is also amazing what Gloria Allred will do to try and keep herself relevant. How is she getting paid for this? She isn’t a small potatoes lawyer and there is no just cause for payment from Woods so pro-bono is out.
For the record, I still think David Letterman is funny, I watch Two and a Half Men but I don’t like Barry Bonds, A-Rod and the rest of the roiders because they didn’t cheat on their family, they cheated their sport which is the only connection I have to them, and Tiger.
Worship him, no, entertained by watching him play golf, yes.

Tiger is a golfer. This minute to minute coverage is overboard. At the end of the day let us know if something newsworthy happens. If you would do that, Ms. Allred would have to find meaningful work to do.
I believe Tiger is paying and will continue to pay for his failings. For this young lady and all the others, let this go, no matter what Gloria says. The number of women involved probably makes a big payday unlikely. Why do a press conference now? Having an affair with one of the most recognizable married athletes in the world is its own indictment. Continue this to what end?

Shame on Gloria Alred…at one time she was an advocate of women’s rights. Now she has lowered herself to represent liars, cheaters, whores, etc., just to get her name and picture in the paper. Boy, you sure have come a long way baby!

Yes, they are all whores. He is no better. He went looking and they were there with their legs wide open. They all knew he was married and overlooked that fact for the hopes of some $$ in their future. Sex for money = prosititution; prostitute = whore! He is a scum but that doesn’t change the name for these woman…maybe Josely should get together with Jess James, then they won’t have to change the monograms!

I certainly hope that I have raised my daughters better than to chase after a married man….for money! Ok, so they had a fling, again I hope I raised them better than this, but now the sh#t has hit the fan, everyone knows, Tiger claims he is trying to change, they are supposedly trying to save the marriage. Whatever, these cheap whores who continue to try and claim their 5 minutes of fame, will not let this rest or go away…still looking for the golden ticket!

Well, well, well. Looks like the same high moral values you’ve taught your daughter will be passed along to your sons! As long as you’re rich and famous, treat your wife like s*** and have a few, I mean as many as you want, “girlfriends” and do as you please. Did you not read my last sentence – Tiger and his “girlfiends” are of the same moral levels. Good grief!
