The Gus Johnson Soundboard has been shuffled off this mortal coil

Do you want to know why the brilliance that is – nay, was – the Gus Johnson Soundboard has met its untimely demise? Gather ’round, kids, and allow me to tell you what has gone down.
As a religious reader of Out of Bounds (if you’re not, you should be – we’re watching, you know), you surely recall when we introduced you to the splendor that was the Gus Johnson Soundboard two weekends ago. And I am sure, much like myself, you have wasted countless hours enjoying clicking on the many options of Gus Johnson-ness.
Nevertheless, my friends, I am the bearer of bad news: the site that was the home of the Gus Johnson Soundboard has been unceremoniously shut down after CBS sent a cease and desist letter to the proprietor of gusjohnsongetsbuckets.com.
That’s right, instead of being greeted by the image to the right, with all the wonderful enjoyment derived by clicking the many buttons and then hearing the excited exclamations of Mr. Johnson, you are instead greeted with this sad sight:

Angry.
Come on, what harm was being done with the site? Yes, I understand the intellectual property rights and whatnot, but really? If anything, the Gus Johnson Soundboard was opening up Gus’ magnificent passion for calling college basketball games to an entirely new audience.
It’s too bad the Soundboard will likely never see the light of day again. What has passed is unfortunately now in the past (passed – past? What the? My brain hurts). Try as they might, they will never be able to take away the two weeks I had with my Gus Johnson Soundboard. And it was good.
