Sweet, cruel irony: Sandra Bullock on Tiger, Elin: 'I would have kept hitting him'

Mar 25, 2010, 1:00 PM EDT

So here’s some audio of Sandra Bullock at the People’s Choice Awards, giving Elin Nordegren some unsolicited advice on what she should have done on that fateful Thanksgiving night when Tiger Woods crashed his SUV into a defenseless tree. Hollywood Life first pointed this out, as Niecy Nash of The Insider asked Bullock what she would have done if Tiger had cheated on her. This was before Bullock discovered her own husband was cheating, so, Irony noted. Excerpt:

“If I were Elin … man, I would have hit a lot more than she did … I would have kept hitting! … I’d get the baseball bat.”

Audio following the jump.

Audio here.
The clip aired this morning on XL 106.7′s Johnny & Jayde In The Morning radio show.

Sandra Bullock reportedly discussed Tiger Woods’ infidelity at the People’s Choice Awards in January with Niecy Nash on ‘The Insider’ — and had some baseball bat slinging tips for Elin Nordegren. According to Hollywood Life, Bullock expressed her outrage admitting, “If I were Elin … man, I would have hit a lot more than she did … I would have kept hitting!” When Nash asked, “You would still be swinging the golf club?” Sandra replied, “Yeah, [Elin] stopped. She was respectable. I’d get the baseball bat. I’d get everything out.” The feisty ‘Blind Side’ actress clearly had no idea that she’d be dealing with her own husband’s alleged infidelity scandal a few months later.

Of course Bullock had no way of knowing that her own husband, Jesse James, was also involved in extra-marital shenanigans (perhaps at that very moment) with an ever-widening string of women. The count is now up to four.
Talk about The Blind Side.

Smarter than You, no, it would’ve been HYPOCRITICAL of Sandra Bullock to have been in her own affair after making the comments she made about Elin Woods.
So, I guess that makes you smarter than who? Smarter than nothing, you pompous-assed, self-important, loud-mouthed buffoon. My 4th grade kid knows the difference between ‘hypocritical’ and ‘ironic’, you wannabe quasi-intellectual waste of skin.
Sorry, I should have more patience with the mentally challenged and usually, I do, but tonight has been a pain in my butt and you shot your mouth off at the wrong time in the wrong place tonight.
    Jackass

    1. He knew before he married her that her career would mean long separations.
    2. Reckon he coming to Hattiesburg, MS to cure his “sex addition?”
    3. Does he know the definition of “Committment?” After all, isn’t that why people get married?

    Right on! Been there………..still hurts…….
Sandra is ‘hiding out’ because she’s hurt and angry. I don’t blame her. She’s a strong lady – give her time – she’ll be back!

This is such a sad situation for Sandra and for the kids involved. Kinda hard to look up to a father who treated his wife so disrespectfully. And now with all these other alledged mistresses coming forward, I can’t help but wonder and be concerned for Sandra’s health, especially if the reports of unprotected sex with all these other women is accurate. Jesse ought to be arrested for reckless endangerment-he has put Sandra in danger of contracting any number of diseases he has brought into their marital bed. Maybe Lorena Bobbitt could give Sandra a few ideas. Karma always seems to take care of things-maybe not as fast or in the way we’d like to see it, but Karma will show up for Mr. James. Hang in there, Sandra, you are a class act, and a good person.

The drive to cheat is equal. “If they aren’t getting it at home, they’re going to go elsewhere..” ?? Not necessarily true. Some just can NEVER get enough.
Words of advice: Take time in the relationship to truly know the person you are involved with BEFORE you get married. You might have fewer surprises down the road. And to say every man who has sleeve tattoos and works on motorcycles is a douche… I invite you to look deep into yourself before such atrocities come spewing out of your mouth. That also applies to those who think “he doesn’t pair up with refined women with a theater background who enjoy eating at expensive restaurants and attending movie premieres…” Get over yourself. Just by reading your comments I feel that you probably stereotype and look down on everyone.
That being said love like you have never loved and love as if you have never been hurt. It is difficult for many, especially when affairs happen to you. But if you can’t do this, when the ‘RIGHT’ one comes along, not only will you be cheating them by not giving them all of yourself, but you will be cheating YOU.
K, done. I’m getting off my soapbox before I write a friggin’ novel.

Re: Swampmama… you are obviously a female hypocrite. Having been a victim of someone half my size taking free shots and daring me to call the police so I would go to jail I find the hypocrisy deafening in regards to the statements made in this and the Woods case. I still remember my mother-in-law calling my then 9-year-old son to tell him that I deserved it. He now is 19 and has lived with me full-time (his choice) since he was 14. Oh yeah…. why did my ex-wife beat me? I caught her cheating.

You should not have capitalized the ‘E’ in ‘English’….if we’re going to nitpick.
