Setting that aside, word on the street (via an anonymous source, so you know it must be true) is that not everything is peachy-keen between Tiger and Elin.In fact, said source claims “Elin has been very cold and distant toward Tiger” this week, according to a EXCLUSIVE report on Radar Online.
Huh. Did I miss something that happened this week that may have set Elin off? As far as I knew, things were all quiet on the Tiger front for a change…
No? What? Oh. Ohhhhhh…
Huh.
The source of Elin’s current bout with the “I-cannot-believe-how-much-my-life-has-gone-down-the-crapper-itis” (a relatively common affliction, actually) stems not from the release of the alleged sexy texties from Tiger by Joslyn James earlier this week, but the fact that Tiger is returning to golf so soon.
“Elin thinks he’s going back on his promise to take time off – as much time off as needed to make things right,” the source told RadarOnline.com. “Now that he’s announced his return she feels taken advantage of.” And despite reports that Tiger and Elin have slept in the same house, they have not spent a single night together. “She told him she was going to move back in, but she never did,” the source said. “Elin is angry at Tiger and she’s let him know it.”
Although Elin isn’t actively pursuing divorce proceedings at this point, that does not mean it couldn’t be on like Donkey Kong with one telephone call. According to Radar’s source, “”At this point the relationship does not seem to be moving forward,” the source said.”
That’s a sticky wicket right there.
In order to resurrect his public persona to any state above pariah (if that is even a possibility at this point), Tiger needs to get back on Tour and do what he does best. I suppose this is simply a case where Tiger’s desires and doing what’s best for his family are at odds. He’s been in this spot before.
