Tiger back on the driving range, Elin nearly back in the house
Mar 4, 2010, 10:00 AM EDT
According to Radar Online, Elin Nordegren is ready to move back in with Tiger Woods at their Orlando mansion, and she was even seen kissing him on the cheek in the back yard of said home. I’m telling you now, if they start calling each other “schmoopy” I’m going to be sick. Nordegren is currently renting a house a few miles from the Orlando mansion where Tiger is residing, and Radar is the only outlet reporting this development, so believe it at your peril. One thing that is for sure, however, is that Tiger has been reunited with his golf clubs. He was on the driving range near his home on Wednesday, where he drove a few balls with fellow PGA Tour pro Charles “Thurston” Howell III.
Radar:
On Wednesday, Elin and Tiger spent approximately three hours together at the house where they will once again live together. They were in the backyard, and a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com exclusively that at one point Tiger kissed Elin on the cheek three times and they hugged.
Elin still has not put back on her wedding ring and has not said when she will move back home, although RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively that Tiger is pushing her to move home this weekend.
Don’t do it Elin! Oh, sorry. I get so caught up when I watch my stories.
Meanwhile, Woods was seen hitting golf balls on the driving range of his home course at Isleworth in Orlando, Florida, located just down the street from a certain scarred tree and bent fire hydrant of some repute. This is from CBS Sports, but since it’s next to impossible to find anything on that site, I’m linking to the story on Sportsbookgurus.com:
Woods was seen hitting golf balls with friend and fellow PGA Tour player Charles Howell III.
“Honestly, he looked as good as he ever has,” Howell remarked to CBSSports.com. “Seriously, he seemed like he was hitting it the same as he ever did.”
Howell was also asked if he and Woods spoke of his return to professional golf.
“Look, I am as curious as anybody about when he is going to play,” Howell said. “But I didn’t want to ask him about that. I just couldn’t.”
Perhaps it was the intimidating presence of the 300-pound bodyguard?

Oh, and compliments on Elin’s hat, by the way.

Elin, coming from hearty Norwegian stock with strong resolve, I will be surprised/deeply disappointed if she takes him back. My Grandma is Swede/Finn who is probably turning over in her grave knowing a fellow countrymen will forgive this infidel.

He is a good golfer and a bad person. Which is more important?

A bad person? He had consensual sex with other women. Although the act itself is bad it’s not the only thing that defines Tiger Woods. All of the good he’s done with his charities is certainly not going to be undone by his current personal issues. You wanna talk about bad people lets talk about the current and last 4 presidents of the united states. Now I can agree those are complete scumbags.

Soooooo, Amy could you please provide links to the letters or somehow point us to the vast efforts you have applied to these “other more important issues” of our day, rather than simply having to read of your psuedo-outrage against “I’ve got everthing and still want more” (on a side note…you use quotes when you’re referencing what someone has stated. The jist of what someone has said vs. the actual words said are two entirely different things dear. I don’t think you wil be successful in finding Woods quoted with that sentence.

In Amy’s defense, if Tiger wants to run around on his wife and family that is his business and public has a right to know since his face has been plastered everwhere since the beginning. However to broadcast his so called appollogy on all major networks is insulting…networks should be broadcasting what Amy is talking about as more important issues…Allen you berate Amy as if your a journalistic scholar…these are blogs…and it is not a Tea Party

I’m deeply disappointed in Elin’s lack of own self-esteem that she would go back to this a******.

Based on what I wasn’t aloud to just post, this is clearly a pro-Tiger site. I only referred to him as an a**hole.

Latrobe, my impatient friend … your comment is there in all its glory. Sometimes it just takes a few minutes to process. There will be no censorship of Latrobe here!

Man just think, people hold a golfer’s standards and actions higher than our Elected Officials. What would Christ say.

Why would the media *not* cover Tiger’s escapades so intensely? You may be ashamed of the networks for their live broadcast of his apology (I, too, find it a sad state of affairs) but keep in mind: 20 million viewers watched it! And all those articles and news reports? They’re getting read! Hey, even Amy and Len…with whom I am inclined to agree on a philosophical level…were *here* reading *this* article. While they’re opposed to it, they’re hear reading it just like everyone else.
News outlets, whether in paper, on the internet, or on televisions, are in the business of making money. The fact that this smut is what attracts customers says plenty about the business ethics they have, but it also says an awful lot about the people buying it: us.

Oops. For Allen’s sake, I should clarify: “they’re here [not hear] reading it”.

Oh…umm…it’s perfectly okay to put quotes around something that is meant to be intentionally sarcastic.

It’s the unprotected sex part that bothers me. Absolutely no regard for the health and safety of his wife. What a complete jerk.

Tiger Rocks, It’s her loss if she leaves him. Golf is an extraordinary profession to master and it’s takes dedication far beyond anything I can think of to master it the way Tiger has. Personally with all that dedication to one’s profession, it’s hard for one to focus on the social indoctrinations of the outside world. Tiger’s a good guy, and he probably loves his family very much, regardless of what traditional wisdom says, sex with multiple partners is as natural as rain.
