Tiger threesome action resulted in hush money, wacky hotel chase?

Feb 15, 2010, 1:00 PM EDT

OK, this is starting to sound like a Billy Wilder movie, only with actual sex. We take you now to the New York Daily News, which brings us a delightful little tale of Tiger Woods, a bed, two girls, and a chase down the hall to retrieve a video camera. Oh, and money paid to the women to keep the whole thing quiet. According to the Daily News’ Rush & Malloy column (recently consigned to Sundays only!), Woods was involved in a threesome with two girls in Phoenix, when in the middle of everything he discovered that one of them was recording the action on her cell phone camera. Tiger flips out, and the girl makes a break for it. A Benny Hill-like chase ensued. Man, these Tiger stories are getting better and better. I hope he never comes out of hiding.

Flash-back about three years ago. Tiger is in bed with these two women, enjoying the sexual equivalent of scoring a double eagle, according to a Phoenix acquaintance.

“Suddenly, he realizes that one of the girls is taking pictures or videotaping him with the other girl,” says the source. “Tiger goes ballistic. He starts chasing the girl around. She runs out the door. He runs out after her. I don’t know how much clothing either of them is wearing, but Tiger finally catches up with her and grabs her cell phone or camera or whatever it was that had the evidence.”

Tiger wasn’t thrilled by the chase, says the source, who adds that the ladies promptly went home. Days later, says the source, Tiger heard from the one he’d chased.

“She claimed she’d been injured during their scuffle,” says the source. “She said she’d hired a lawyer.”

Even if her charges were baseless, it would be catastrophic for Tiger if any part of the evening came to light.

According to the source, Tiger’s handlers diffused the scandal by making an arrangement in which both women received regular payments, so long as they kept quiet.

For the record, I only got ‘caught’ in Phoenix. I did it in Flagstaff too but no one knows about that one and no one ever will if I have say about it. Oh yeah, I did it a in Scottsdale too.

I am one of those that put Woods on that pedestal. Even though he deserves everything that he gets from all this, he will be back and he will be as popular as ever. The smartest thing Nike did was to stick with Tiger. They will not be sorry.

Tiger shouldn’t have gotten married. I’m looking forward to his comeback, especially when Cinemax gets the T.V. rights to the Masters.

Tremendous. About the only thing that could make this more comical is Harpo Marx crawling around the bed tooting a bulb horn.

Let’s be VERY clear that NO ONE WAS CAUGHT and all that we have here is ANOTHER allegation. Wouldn’t you think that if ANY of the many, many allegations were true that just ONE of them would have HEADLINE CREATING pictures to be published? Did anyone think about this? The best news I get from all of this BS is if any of the allegations made were true and Tiger has been paying these “ladies” to keep it quiet, then he is now saving a potential boatload of money now that the stories are out. I would love to see the list of all the names of the “ladies” involved in payoffs printed with their home locations so everyone in the world and their husbands/boyfriends, parents and families and their employers would know who these blackmailing, low-life, scum sucking “ladies” were. Ladies, you can smile through your tears at your “little” successes.

Well at least he doesn’t have to worry about paying them anymore! The cats out of the bag!

Soooooo, if a drug addict has to never take drugs again and an alcoholic can’t ever drink again does that mean a sex addict…..can’t…..EVER????….no…that can’t be right. I myself am a workaholic but I’ve been through the program and the disease is now in remission.

  12. Jean - Feb 16, 2010 at 9:17 AM

Kevin…. That is such a stupid comment that men use to justify their juvenile behavior. Even cheaters don’t buy that arguement- they are just willing to lie to make themselves feel better. Don’t blame this on the wife who was home raising the kids. Tiger wanted to have the comfort of a nice family and home PLUS to live a single lifestyle. You don’t get to have both. He is a pathetic excuse for a man. S0 are you if you defend him.

  13. Allen - Feb 16, 2010 at 9:44 AM

“Flash-back about three years ago…” and for what reason should we do that? Has the man broken State law…is the AG of Arizona have a case pending against the man?
What is the purpose of such articles…what is this ‘evidence’ (and yes, I’m saying that in tongue and cheek) going to uphold?
    You talk about irrelevent…

Haven’t we had enough with the Tiger Woods drama. There are people out of work and no health insurance, but the news remains on drama. Its done, let everyone go home and survive.

The only reason I’m commenting here is that I notice the number of comments on this post is at 69. That’s too ironic for a Tiger Woods post, so I had to make it click over to 70.

  21. It's a shame - Feb 17, 2010 at 3:13 PM

I understand Tiger was in the wrong. However, that is very mediocre to other athletes. I don’t think he ruined the sport. Athletes that have ruined sports in general are ones who take a human or animal’s life and all they get is a slap on the wrist for it in a sense. Looks like an athlete today just got signed to the Ravens.
