Evidently, Dallas Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips receives all of his ample booty-shaking advice from the 1989 hip hop classic by Young MC, “Bust A Move,” because that is exactly what he did when he joined some lovely ladies on the dance floor to participate in a little dancing to the Village People’s “YMCA.”
It truly is a sight to behold.
Oh dear. Despite the awkwardness of it all, I still have to give credit to the 62-year-old coach for his devil-may-care attitude exemplified by just getting out there and having a good time. You would never see Bill Belichick doing something like this – although you might see the Patriots capo rummaging through a bin at a YMCA in search of clothing, but that’s an old joke from a different time – the same erea when it was consider acceptable for a DJ to actually play the song “YMCA.” What, is Boz Scaggs not hip enough for ya?
