Well, it appears that Tiger Woods has completed his sex rehabilitation program at Gentle Path in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and has been told to go and wait out front by the bike racks so his mom can pick him up will soon meet with wife Elin Nordegren, who has flown in to fetch him. That’s according to Radar Online, which reports that Nordegren has left Orlando to bring Tiger home. This despite the fact that no one has actually seen Woods at the facility, unless you count an early photo that is now thought to be a Tiger lookalike. But whether Tiger is there or not, it’s been fun times in Hattiesburg, no? The giant Tiger fence. The hordes of photographers. The Brett Favre Bed & Breakfast. Good times.
As RadarOnline.com reported earlier, his wife Elin has called off the divorce – for now – and is giving Tiger a second chance. When Tiger leaves the clinic, he and Elin plan to go away together, alone, for a few days, sources told RadarOnline.com.
“Tiger and Elin want to be alone out of public when he leaves the clinic,” a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com.
Elin previously spent five days with Tiger as part of his therapy program in Mississippi. Because of excellent security she was unseen by the press in Hattiesburg, but her absence was notable in Orlando.
But contrary to the Radar report, OK Magazine says in its current issue that Nordegren is not calling off the divorce, and has issued “a new set of demands” if Tiger wants to keep her. Nordegren, reports the magazine, was an essential part of Tiger’s rehabilitation, and sees herself as a big part of his potential recovery.
To better understand Tiger’s compulsion, Elin has had three-hour-long sessions with experts at the clinic as often as three times a day.
“She tells me she’s learned that sex was a way to ease his anxiety, like having a drink,” says the friend.
The Globe Magazine takes it a step further, saying that Elin is still in the picture because she wants to “make Tiger crawl.” And then there are the reports that Nordegren has agreed to stay married to Woods for four more years in order to collect a large sum of money.
Is any of this true? Unknown at this time. What I do know is that conjecture is going to continue to fly as long as there’s a vacuum of actual statements from Woods or Nordegren themselves.
So what does one get on graduation day at a sex rehab clinic, anyway? Pin? Certificate? Framed photo of Ann Coulter? Well, we’ll see you all back in Hattiesburg in 2020 for the 10-year class reunion. Should be fun.

If we are not willing to damn Elvis, John McCain, FDR, Eisenower, JFK, RFK, Ben Franklin, and Reagan to hell…Tiger shouldnt be any different. We got men on Rushmore and on our money that has cheated on their wives…and some had children with mistresses. Hell, we were about to put another cheater in the White House. Tiger didnt invent infidelity and it will not end with him. I know people are upset him and his wife are fighting for their marriage. Maybe divorce and giving up to please bigots isnt the answer afterall? Tiger..now really get ‘em mad…go win four more majors!

Tiger Woods is not a sex addict. It is the wrong term. You cannot be addicted to yourself. You need a drug or external stimulus such as alcohol to be addicted. He is obsessive-compulsive, but there is no such thing as sexual rehabilitation. It is a scam that makes lots of money for a few clinics and so-called sex addict counselors. It is all very moralistic.
I am a sex therapist, and the cognitive-behavioral approach would help Tiger get some balance in his life. It is not moralistic like the sexual addiction approach he has been subjected to. Now he can say it was all beyond his control until he found salvation through a 12-step program for sex addicts. Hogwash.

Just because someone is an American icon and held up for approval by all does not mean they are “perfect”. There is no such thing as “perfect” in an individual. If one can find one, let me know.

Thank you Dr Libby!!! I hold 3 PhD’s and am a rehabilitation counselor and Psychiatrist. You are absolutely correct in your approach to the situation. As I mentioned earlier, no one is absolutely perfect and being subjected to the stressors of Tiger’s life, his response may seem appropriate. If I have researched correctly, he has not been allowed any of the “normalities” of life and has been programmed from childhood to perform. This type lifestyle requires some sort of “outlet” and in Tiger’s case, sex may have provided this outlet and a form of relaxation out of the public eye. This outlet is exactly what he needed as he is “billed” as a very private person off the golf course and extensive travel does not always provide for a healthy family life.

Boy, he’s got her believing it was all just a dream….. Now all he has to do is keep his brains in his pants for a few months and everything will work out fine. I’m betting he won’t get any tender loving at home and we’ll be back at the beginning of this whole messicapade before the PGA Championship rolls around. Then it will be “time out” again for another 6 months.

This piece reminds me of my grandmother and her neighbors who would sit in her backyard and gossip everyday about all sorts of things…..of course they had no personal knowledge of any of their targets, but that didn’t stop them. They just kept on talking….much like the media today.

If Tiger was single and doing this he would be revered and even envied by some as a “stud”, “playboy,” “socialite,” “party animal,” but…he’s not. He’s married and has two children. These are the people he must answer to at the end of the day; not me, you, Tom Watson or anyone else. By the way; Mr Watson, Tiger made golf fun to watch and increased attendance and interest two fold. Get a life pal. You blew the British Open, focus on that!!

If Elin catches him cheating again, it’ll be more than just a golf club to the kisser. It may even be another OJ type deal, only she does the deed. Or a Lorena Bobbet type of crime. Tiger should be extra careful with this chick. She already has shown that she is the real narcissist here. She actually thinks she can win him over from a bevy of chicks that give Tiger what he wants and needs while evidently not bothering to do so herself.
