Site: Elin's phone ruse drew out Rachel Uchitel, led to SUV crash

If you’re like me, you long for the early days of the Tiger Woods scandal; when he only had one known alleged mistress, and the dents in his Escalade were still fresh. According to Gerald Posner of the Daily Beast, there’s new information on what happened that fateful Thanksgiving night, now so long ago. Elin Nordegren commandeered Tiger Woods’ cell phone while he was asleep, and texted his alleged mistress, Rachel Uchitel, pretending to be him, Posner wrote, citing “two sources.” When Uchitel texted back, that’s when the fireworks began; Elin punching Woods and then chasing him from their Windermere home with a sand wedge. Woods, goofy on sleeping pills, then ran his SUV into a few stationary objects, including his good-guy mystique.


According to The Daily Beast, Woods had taken sleeping pills after telling Elin that there was no truth to the rumors of him and Uchitel having an affair. So after he fell asleep, she went looking through his phone.

While asleep, Elin looked through Woods’ cellphone and found Uchitel’s number, discovering a damning text message that read: “You are the only one I’ve loved.”

That’s when Elin went berserk. At about 1 a.m., Elin began frantically texting Uchitel — pretending to be Woods — and wrote, “I miss you,” and asked, “When are we seeing each other again?”

Uchitel texted back. The Daily Beast reported that Elin called Uchitel, who answered thinking it was Woods.

“Oh f—-!” a stunned Uchitel blurted out before hanging up, the Web site reported.

Elin then woke a disoriented Woods up. The Daily Beast reported that Elin began punching him in the chest and arms, then finally chased him out of the house wielding a golf club.

Shoeless, Woods ran into his car and hit the gas, careening off a fire hydrant and then smashing into a nearby tree.

Meanwhile, Mel Gibson says that he feels Tiger’s pain.
“Sometimes the most difficult part is being able to forgive yourself, which is hard when everyone else is beating on you,” Gibson said of Woods on Good Morning America. “I just want to see him play golf.”

    What you’ve done is an attempt to box in anyone who disagrees with your point of view, likewise I could say that anyone who holds your view is a jilted woman whose husband or boyfriend has left her or has not had much luck with men. I would guess that you blame and hate all men because if you were legitimate and fair in your assessment of this supposed incident then you would also point out that their is an element of domestic violence that is not addressed in your tirade. You are a man hater and a gold digger. In my view Elin should be in jail for domestic abuse and any reasonable person would say the same especially if the situation were reversed.

    Tiger has every right to file assault charges against her, and if she hit him in the face with a golf club, then that’s domestic assault. I actually agree with you there. There seems to be a certain type of boy, or bitter man, however, that want to somehow blame this whole thing on her…saying that obviously she wasn’t taking care of his needs, etc. I happen to be a happily married man, and I have a hard time thinking of anything worse that I could do to my wife than have unprotected sex with hookers, exposing her to all sorts of things including fatal diseases. Weigh the consequences: a couple broken teeth vs. AIDS.

    Once again, this is ENDLESS! Now, there’s this British that was going to his office on a weekly basis, the last 2 years, to “service” Tiger. He gives her $500,000 in CASH in a bag to keep her quiet. Now, she’s afraid the IRS will want their cut?? At least she’s been exposed for the she is. As for Tiger, he’s gotta be having a, ahem……hard time keeping score.
    He probably should consider castration and get back to whatever. I personally don’t give a damn if he EVER plays another golf tournament.

    sounds like a scenario from the game clue: “it was mrs woods in the garage with a sand wedge”…
    if they were “smart”, they would just agree to go their separate ways at this point. judging by his actions, it’s obvious that he doesn’t love/respect her, and clearly she’s less than impressed with him. there’s more than enough to go around here, no one will be starving.
    t-dub made 2 huge mistakes: listening to his “PR” people to rush and get married in the first place so he could sell more buicks/gatorade/nike (he had the rest of his life to be miserable/married), and leaving his phone unattended around a suspicious wife. the rest of it is just “decision making”, which relates directly back to mistake #1…probably gonna cost him about half a BILLION by the time it’s all said and done…

    The only person to blame for all of Tiger Woods’ problems is Tiger himself!! If he wasn’t satisfied with his wife, then HE should have taken the step to end his marriage or at least go to a marriage counselor with Elin. But NO, he had to to out and get a bunch of mistresses to have in different cities to take care of him while on the road. I am glad that Elin found out and got things started and I hope that she takes Tiger for HALF of every dime that he earned during their marriage PLUS full custody of the kids. Then maybe Tiger will learn that he is just a man and not anybody more special that any other man!!

    Assault charges will be hard to prove with no witnesses in court. It’s a he said she said situation with him dazed on sleeping pills. The guy passed out after the wreck and was unconcious. He’d make a great witness on the stand and he was clearly operating a moter vehicle impaired which he should have bee charged with. His medical records from the hospital and blood tests would be supoenad.
    If this went to court and all facts were exposed his reputation would be tarnihed more. He wants it to go away. She also may know of different drugs he has been taking for one reason or another which could effect his standing on the PGA tour. Who knows what substances he has been taking. The PGA tour just started testing for PEDs. There may or may not be other sustances. many things that we are not be aware of Tiger would not want exposed in a trial. The media would be everywhere. It’s probably a no win situation for him. He may have also given her an STD. We don’t know. I don’t think he wants his personal life unraveled any more than it is.

Fact… Pornstars are tested more for HIV and STDs more than the people that you trust walking around daily(minimum of once a month) second you have no idea what happenend on those forays. Assault with a deadly weapon and you still worry about what he might have done instead of what she actually did! That’s probably why you are all alone in this world because someone told you what your loved one might have done and you ran with it!     Hello!! Tiger cannot file any charges because he already lied to protect her. If he was to file charges then he would face charges himself for lying to the police when he said she tried to break the windows to pull him out not that she broke the windows while trying to break his scull!! The only dignified thing he did that day was protect her from the firestorm that was headed his way. Had he said that she was chasing him sith a club could you imagine the media firestorm that would have produced. We would all be talking about Elin the husband beater and not Tiger the cheater! I do agree that he was not having “unprotected” sex with anyone. I think that he probably took the steps to ensure that he was not sleeping with someone that had a disease he could catch.

Tiger has a boardroom of financial advisers, managers, agents and lawyers. How come none of them , ever said ,” chill Tiger”? No more Las Vegas.? Because he thought he was Magic Johnson and Micheal Irvin rolled up in one.Tiger dude, move to China , you can have a concubine of 4 wifes there.
