Tiger Woods mistress No. 19 called him 'Jose' to hide affair

By now you’re probably aware of Tiger Woods mistress No. 19 (are we still using ‘alleged’? OK). That’s Emma Rotherham, 42, a native of Britain who lives in Celebration, Fla., and is said to have been the most recent to play through at the Windermere Golf & Infidelity Country Club. I pretty much stopped listing these women at alleged mistress No. 7 or so, but this lady gets special note because of the clever ruse she used to slip past family and friends in order to enjoy her Tiger rendezvous. According to two British tabloids, Rotherham would say that she was “going to take golf lessons from Jose,” when she would really be heading out to meet Tiger for a very different type of activity. Awesome.


And so a future classic euphemism is born. “I’m going to see a man about a horse,” “I going to drop the kids off at the pool,” and “I’m going to take golf lessons from Jose.”
It doesn’t have the style and panache of “Ron Mexico,” but it worked, evidently.

It emerged yesterday that Miss Rotherham was paid more than $500,000 (£300,000) in hush money to keep quiet about their affair.

She is said to have gone ‘absolutely ballistic’ after details of the 18-month fling emerged at the weekend. She had signed a confidentiality agreement after a member of the golfer’s security team handed her a sports bag stuffed with half-a-million dollars in $100 bills.

Now she fears she will be liable for tax in the U.S. over the alleged pay-off.

Miss Rotherham is understood to have visited Woods once a week. She believed at the time that she was his only mistress, although it now appears she was just one of a dirty dozen.

A source told the News of the World: ‘Emma was his most recent mistress. They had a very, very passionate relationship and she has dozens of text messages and emails from him.’

According to News of the World, Tiger so adored Ms Rotherham that he suggested she wear a wedding ring to keep other men at bay.

    And why do we need to know the details of Tiger’s affairs? What I want is for Tiger and Elin to work on their problem and for Tiger to get back to golf.

    Adultery means you are unable to live up to the promised terms of a legal contract.
    Why would anyone want to have anything to do with yet another liar unable to live up to the terms of a legal agreement? There must be a few adult men out there who are able to play golf and meet the terms of a contract. Surely the PGA has the bucks to find them.

    Why do we have to know all about Tigers girls. That is his wife’s
    business. Tiger has always been a private person and a nice person to the multitudes for the most part. Let him be, let him play golf, and his wife will take care of the rest.$$$$$$$$$$$$

    I’m sure Tiger knows golf and its rules far better than I,however,I do know some gimmies,such as,after playing thru 18 holes,the 19th is the bar!!!

    This has nothing to do with “going ballistic” over someone’s release of intimate info, or whether #19 is worried about taxes, this has to do with #19 smelling more money and “fame” coming her way.

    I thought the over was 20, this 42 yr old hooker is absolutely stupid if all she is worried about is taxes. No brains in that body. Why else would Tiger pick her, a conquest at every tour stop.
