Tiger Woods photographed at sex rehab clinic? Apparently so

Jan 20, 2010, 3:00 PM EDT

Here’s the photo you’ve all been waiting for; what, you haven’t? Well here it is anyway. The National Enquirer — those fun folks who started this whole thing in Australia back in November — have what they say is a photo of Tiger Woods strolling outside a sex rehabilitation clinic in Hattiesburg, Mississippi (no, that’s not it on the right). I’m linking to it after the jump, and like any Bigfoot photo or police mugshot of Mel Gibson, you can examine the blurry image and make up your own mind on if it’s real. Several news sources are trumpeting it as the first sighting of Tiger in the wild since before Thanksgiving, and he’s described as “scruffy.” Well, why not? Gillette was one of the first sponsors to dump him.

Here are the photos. (Please observe the No Loitering sign. Who loiters outside of a sex rehab clinic?).
From Radar Online, which ran the photos today:

These are the exclusive first photos of Tiger Woods in rehab for sexual addiction at a clinic in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. As RadarOnline.com reported he checked into the Gentle Path program, part of Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services.

The photos of Tiger appear in the new issue of the National Enquirer.

OK, I’m heading to the Safeway to steal purchase a copy legally. Anybody want anything while I’m there?

And an eyewitness confirmed there was no doubt that the man in the photograph is Tiger, saying that while he was bundled up, the golfer was recognizable in person.

Tiger is living without a roommate in one of the cottages at Gentle Path. The Enquirer reports that he checked into the six-week program on December 30.

Author Benoit Denizet-Lewis, who has written a book on sex addiction, said earlier this week that sources told him Woods indeed has checked in to the Hattiesburg clinic.
Question: Did the photographer earn $500,000 for his efforts? Sweet payday for a grainy image from a hundred yards off.

If this was just a “guy from the hood,” he wouldn’t be wearing the half socks.

Ever who said money couldn’t buy love, ought to be a billionaire, because the man loved what he was doing, besides, who cares?: other than the jealous!

He may beat my records but it will have been done in SHAME, SHAME On you Tiger Woods for following in your fathers foot steps and for giving GOLF such a BLACK EYE.
But I do agree, keep throwing it in his face, maybe his wife should have called MS. Bobbit, snip snip.

You obviously don’t watch Tiger often. It is definitely him.

  5. Leon - Jan 21, 2010 at 11:32 AM

    Jealous!!!!!

  6. Debbie - Jan 21, 2010 at 11:34 AM

It’s funny the people who say Tiger is not the best athlete ever and mentions all these football, basketball, and baseball players — and yet, all those players routinely vote for Tiger as the best athlete ever. What do you know that they don’t?

Looks similar to the famous big foot photos.

If that was me I would’ve gave him another chance after I whipped his ass with the golfclub lol. But you know as they say “it get greater later. To those huzzies, go get your own dam man, that man got a family yall dont. And if I see anyone of yall hoes I’m a spit in your face.

It’s funny reading the indignation of men over Tiger’s affairs. Every man I talk to says it’s in their DNA to want to spread their seed, they can’t help it. And yet, it seems to be men who are the angriest at Tiger. Jealous much? Can’t get any women who want to receive your seed? Such hypocrisy.

It’s the same country, just 50 years ago, the media used to overlook the affairs of those in the limelight. Men in power, wealth and position have always cheated….people just used to respect privacy a little more.

When you accept limelight, ya gotta take the bad. I say he has a smile when he’s winning – but boy he throws his golf club when he misses a shot! Where’s the sportsmanship, he has none. I personally don’t give a hoot about him or golf. I feel for his wife and his kids. I hope they get together again so he can make up to his wife and his kids. I believe he loves his wife and of course his kids…he should have a second change…if she wants that. He is the screw-up and she needs to make the decision whether to stay with him or not. I feel for all of them, him included.

Tiger is still a great guy!!! Big mistakes in his marriage to a beautiful wife though. I hope he clean himself up for his wife and childrens sake. Kinda sad that in todays day and age anything goes.

This is the best comment yet, a sport where some one carries a bag for you is no sport. There is nothing athleting about it. .

    uhm…
Boxing??? Heavy Weight?? Holyfield maybe foreman? Over 50 can be top athletes? No? try running a marathon or a triathlon. Look around you and see how many of the people passing you are too old.
    Nuff said.

Unfortunaltley with the adolescent media, this is going to continue until Tiger does a press conference and just so everybody can just move on PLEASE, (so boring already) i.e A-Rod

  17. azhira - Jan 21, 2010 at 12:12 PM

Here’s a thought…people are hung up on this story because he treated someone HORRIBLY. If you want to sleep around, don’t get married. If you’re one of those saying “leave him alone, anyone would do the same”–well, then, you are also one of those pathetic lying jerkoffs who should not bother getting married, either. The big fascination, and the lesson to be learned here, is that this is NOT how you treat someone. Don’t get married, then turn around and lie and sleep around. It’s a nasty, low-life, pathetic, horrible, awful way to behave.

So many people feeling bad for Tiger. So funny. Sex addict. Please! As men when we see a nice looking piece we want it. That’s not an addiction. That’s being a man. As for those sticking up for Tiger and telling everyone to leave poor Tiger alone. Let’s not forget he cheated on his wife, he has two small children and he put his wife’s health and well being at risk. Who knows what disease he may have brought home? That’s a deal breaker. What happens if he suddenly test HIV positive?

I read the connotation ” Best Athelte of The Decade”, that would be for 10 years, not the best athelete ever. Besides how could you call 1 person the best athelete ever, it has haunted Bo jackson who was Mr. Baseball, Mr. Football and a sport or two here and there. In fact his Nike Sports Apparel marketing nickname was “Bo Knows ” and the sports world ran with that for a while.
Then there was Michael Jordan despite his retirements and un-retirements he also had a stint at baseball, these guys are just a sample of what the media and the quest for the almighty dollar does to people. Tiger Woods has played 1 sport very well and his rumored compensation from playing that sport as well as endorsements shadows Jordan, Jackson or any other athelete, and the words are “E-V-E-R”.
I would bet that more people worldwide watch golf more than any other sport, the corporate endowments for the sport are legendary because it is a game of relaxation and little effort and thus anyone can play it. So to say that Tiger Woods is the best athelete ever, although I have not heard that anywhere, ever, is like saying the Pope is the chief of all religions, where you know that there are many religions with alot of respect in this world. Take it in stride homeboy, GOLF is a well respected sport that is played in shorts and shirts with collars, period.

OK, this is the last for me. Our attentions should be on those in Haiti, devasted by the earthquake. I believe Tiger may be in sex rehab so that he can use this as an excuse. The fact of the matter is he felt he was untouchable and felt he would never get caught. His ego obviously grew to huge porportions and with that goes the “God-like” syndrome. He is still, in my eyes, a remarkable golfer, probably the best ever but as a human being, he is pitiful. Seems this is the behaviour similar to those in the movies or politics. We “worship” these people and put them on a pedestal so they consider themselves above all. We need to turn our (positive) attention to those that deserve it: police, fireman, military, teachers, doctors and nurses.

  25. Jack - Jan 21, 2010 at 12:52 PM

SHAME ON TIGER FOR BEING GOD LIKE, Maybe he was on steriods, how do we really know how good he is they dont test for steriods on Golf, at least not yet.
I did it the old fashion way hard work.
SHAME ON TIGER FOR GIVING GOLF A BLACK EYE. Maybe Tiger should go to Haiti and help out for his sins instead of living in the lap of Luxuray that GOLF has been able to give him.
SHAME ON YOU TIGER FOR GIVING GOLF A BLACK EYE, Shame Shame.
