I made a couple of calls to make sure this isn’t some sort of prank, and sadly, it’s indeed legit. A former pro wrestling promoter is starting an all-Caucasian pro basketball league which hopes to start in June in 12 cities, among them Augusta, Ga. The All-American Basketball Alliance announced its plans in a news release Sunday evening, hours before Martin Luther King Day. Excerpt: “Only players that are natural born United States citizens with both parents of Caucasian race are eligible to play in the league.”

Meet Don “Moose” Lewis, the commissioner of the AABA who incredibly, somehow did not acquire the nickname “Bubba” or “Skeeter.” He told the Augusta Chronicle that the reasoning behind the league’s roster restrictions is not racism.
“There’s nothing hatred about what we’re doing,” Lewis said. “I don’t hate anyone of color. But people of white, American-born citizens are in the minority now. Here’s a league for white players to play fundamental basketball, which they like.”
Lewis said he wants to emphasize fundamental basketball instead of “street-ball” played by “people of color.” He pointed out recent incidents in the NBA, including Gilbert Arenas’ indefinite suspension after bringing guns into the Washington Wizards locker room, as examples of fans’ dissatisfaction with the way current professional sports are run.
“Would you want to go to the game and worry about a player flipping you off or attacking you in the stands or grabbing their crotch?” he said. “That’s the culture today, and in a free country we should have the right to move ourselves in a better direction.”
I called the Augusta Chronicle to make sure this was real, and indeed, a nice fellow in the sports department confirmed it. He also assured me that the league will probably never get off the ground.
But believe it or not, the Chronicle got a few emails supporting the league. It’s my understanding that those emailers may have had relatives who were shot with arrows by Burt Reynolds during a canoe trip, and are still a little angry. But I could be wrong.

Hey David, I can understand your ire at the heavy handed way so many things are promoted in America. BET wow what a statement, Ebony even worse, but to that liberal America who will call it Racism to start an all-white league would probably be true. I know we do not like to acknowledge our short-comings and we truly believe that we are superior in all this world even if we contribute absolutely nothing to the start, continuing or increase of anything and everything that exists in a positive manner no matter where it may be, (but not the negative). We as a group tend to ride the backs of those who are movers and shakers that form and advance the better aspects of the world, in less than human terms we would reffered to as leeches. If you will exert a bit of brain power and look at history in a positive manner, ALL things especially in America started with total Caucasian Affirmative Action and still continues today, hence your attitude because some people call it racism, no it is just a backward step in time, but it could also be a good thing for the lesser gifted players of which there are many of all races so therein lies the enigma. Why not start a league of secondarily skilled players, teach them to play strictly fundamental basketball without all that atheleticism and the white players will probably excell and dominate. Just as in the business and science world, all we have to do is set the wall at a point that they can’t get over, around or under it, then our Caucasian Affirmative Action Program stays intact and we can keep up the belief that we are superior in all ways. Onward and Upward.

George, George, you are so right, hit the nail right on the head, killed the two headed snake with one blow. Quit supporting that kind of overpaid crap and I mean all sports. Don’t pay those prices to go watch it and stop supporting the business sponsors that pay to advertise them. A change will come for sure and by the way that extends into all things monetary, including gasoline prices, oops sorry that slipped out.

Hi Woody, I have never joined any group but the military and I must say we were very prejudiced back when I came in, but a subtle prejudice although we made sure they knew it was happening. The NAACP does have the unfortunate name application associated with people of color because of it’s begginning but they fight for the rights of people and we all fall under the advancements they make in life, business and morality, even you along with those ********s.

At one time I loved watching the NBA but not anymore its boring. Also there are some great white players that do not get the playing time that they should and something should be done about it. Those that think there should be a change support change with your feet and your remote do not go to the games and do not watch it. It is not about white, black, yellow or any other color it is about being fair and not hypocritical.

The people and only people of the people should be allowed to have everything. You already have everything. We have the United Negro Fund – and no one seems upset about it. We have the NAACP – and no one seems to be upset with it. We have Black Entertainment Television – and no one seems to be upset about it. We have Black History Month – and no one seems to be upset about it. But we have someone attempting to do something for the white faction of America – and that’s racist.
Get a life. Better yet, get off your butts, get an education, and get a job. Regardless of who you are – if you ain’t working – then your job is to get a job. And if you are working, then you are paying taxes. So if you have a complaint about the way things are done in America, contact your Congressman or Representative – and start working within the system to make life better for everyone.

This is not true. In America people are raised being fed this same line all the time through the media that black people are better athletes; and they believe it too because noone questions it. If anyone questions it or they say anything their racist. Think about it. Only 12% of Americans are African/American. How is it possible that with millions more white people that in only certain sports that 90% are black. I’m not trying to discredit black athletes, I’m trying to show that popular culture discredits white ones. Check out “castefootball.us”. The author does seem a little over the top with the whole thing, however he has some really good points, mostly in the football section.

The NBA is an all black league. It has zionist owners like the NFL.
So an all white league seems like a good idea. Maybe it gets better ratings, since we all know the NBA is not doing so well.
Oh and this league may be fronting as existing to want a “fundemental” game of basketball, but in reality they are probably confronting the anti-white bias in the NFL and NBA (by mainly the zionist owners and zionist media).
I doubt this league is started because “well, whites are just not as athletic.” It is possible blacks are slightly better at b-ball because of their culture, but considering white men usually go 1-2-3 in the high jump at the Olympics most years, athleticism has nothing to do with this league. It’s just effrontery to cultural marxism. And I’m all for that.

I’d love to see an all white league. I believe that white’s have different style and rythym in basketball, that doesn’t mix well with black players. Also, the NBA is dominated by blacks. So basketball fans have been shortchanged by the NBA. I also believe that there has been an element of racism in favor of blacks since the early 80′s at all leves of coaching making it a more challenging environment for the white athlete than for the black athlete. I hope this league gets off the ground. I know it would get tremendous support. I’ve heard countless people say they stopped wathcing the NBA after Larry Bird retired. I don’t wonder why.
