Stubby Clapp's Video Vault: Monta Ellis finds his range

Jan 15, 2010, 2:00 PM EDT

Every weekday, or at least every weekday in which we can find more than one, we’ll present the day’s best in little noted sports video gems. Please feel free to riff with your own dialogue. Who is Stubby Clapp, you ask? Sir, you wound me.

Monta Ellis’ Backwards Trick Shot VIDEO: Nails Absurd Basket. Plenty of NBA stars like LeBron James and Dwight Howard make amazing trick shots all the time, whether it’s before the game or just at practice. But Golden State Warriors guard Monta Ellis took it to the next level, swishing a backwards, over-the-shoulder shot from the players tunnel. It’s hard to get more ridiculous than that. More videos, including a Danica Patrick 2010 Super Bowl ad, following the jump.

* Kiefer loses pants on Pats. What was with Kiefer Sutherland’s get-up on David Letterman’s show last night? The “24″ star walked on stage in a dress. “I lost a bet over the weekend,” he told the host. “I was so sure New England was going to win, that I told a guy who used to be my friend that if New England lost, I would wear a dress on ‘Letterman’.” [The Names Blog]

* Danica Patrick 2010 Go Daddy Super Bowl Commercial. Go Daddy is debuting their Super Bowl commercials on their Web site and allowing you to rate them. The first ad features Danica Patrick reenacting famous scenes from Weird Science and Flash Dance. [You Been Blinded]
 * Step Off Marilyn McCoo. Let T-Good Show You How It Do. [Deuce of Davenport]

* Jersey Shore Girls At Kings-Ducks Game. JWoww, Snookie and Angelina (boo that woman!) attended an LA Kings game last night. Of course, they got interviewed by Kingsvision and now the video is on NHL.com. Best hockey-video evar. Quack quack quack… [The Big Lead]
