GM: No more free Escalades for Tiger Woods

Jan 12, 2010, 5:30 PM EDT

General Motors says the free car gravy train is OVER; Tiger Woods can forget the free Cadillac Escalades he’s been given by the company in recent years. GM says that its contract with Woods ended on Dec. 31, and that’s the reason. Yeah, OK. We literally just fell off of a turnip truck, and totally believe that. The decision had nothing to do with this. Or this.
I bet he’s now regretting giving away all those Buick Rainiers.
To lessen the blow of this devastating news, here’s a new Tiger Woods driving game, following the jump.

As for Tiger’s smashed Escalade? It’s in a GM garage, and will eventually be repaired and sold at auction. Big mistake in this economy; the SUV is worth a lot more in its present condition.

That’s not fair, Tiger without a freebie ,it Annoys me how we give so much to athletes and then let the people that actually keep the ball rolling pay 60 payments of $500 a month while a billion air gets off Scot free, Shame on all you idiots that give it to the ones that don’t need it….

So thats why Elin was seen purchasing a new Land Rover. I’m sure they will get along fine.

Elin is making Tiger drive a Volvo now. No one has gotten laid in a Volvo.

Free cars to athletes…do they REALLY need one? And the automakers cry for lack of business! Just another stupid move to give stuff to gifted people making a ton of money! What I would like to know, how many athletes actually give that car to someone or a charity that really needs one? Now, if they do this on a regular basis, fine. I have no argument with that.
Back to Tiger. As you can see folks, this man has simply disappeared. And no one knows where he’s at. Like I said before, and to you, the pro golfers that may read these blogs…He’s gone, finished, Kaput!

The whole idea of giving cars and trips and rooms in the best hotels to athletes and celebrities has always been baffling to me. Why do we give free stuff to people who can afford to buy it and charge the people who can’t more than it is worth. Then when they make a payment late or miss one tack on so much interest that they can never pay it off. Totally baffling. What is wrong with this country. And as for Tiger, it is his life. I say let him be and stay out of his business. It is between him and his wife.

Do you really think he cares if he doesn’t get a free Escalade. Are you not thinking? He does have enough money to buy one or two if he wants. You guys are killing me. Sure what he did was very wrong. But you sponsors are at fault. You hyped him up so much, and now that he has made a mistake, you all are going crazy. Do what you gotta.
