Because you demanded it — at least that’s what was written on the note attached to the brick — here’s the lowdown on Alex Rodriguez’s new lady love. Her name is Elaine Spottswood, 25, of Key West, and the big news here is not that A-Rod has found a new girlfriend; it’s that he’s found an attractive blonde who doesn’t have Tiger Woods’ fingerprints all over her.

As far as I can tell, the Miami Herald’s Scene in the Tropics Blog is the first to report this.
Elaine Spottswood, a 25-year-old Key West native, is a University of Florida graduate, and recently appointed tenant representative in the Miami office of Howard Ecker and Company, a national commercial tenant representation company. She is a member of a prominent Key West family whose company of the same name has dealings in real estate, timesharing, marinas, hospitality, broadcasting and banking.

Hudson was a tough out: able to mix it up toe-to-toe with Derek Jeter’s girlfriend, Minka Kelly; and also look at the portrait of A-Rod as a centaur and not burst out laughing. Really…racist? A Rod may not be a good guy, but he wasn’t MARRIED with two kids. That is the difference. Race has nothing to do with it. Guaranteed that if A Rod was married, and as you put it “having multiple hos” there would be the same media and public backlash.

Grow up! Why do some people have to make EVERYTHING about race? There is no widespread conspiracy to “keep the brothers down!” Tiger Woods (who by the way, has said on more than one occassion that he is NOT African American; he recognizes his his multi-ethnic background) was a married man screwing around with a harem of skanky,opportunistic looking women for many years while portraying a squeaky clean, family man image. A-Rod is a divorced man on the dating scene. One has nothing to do with the other.

Why you ask..because all are more than 1/32 black ,like most of the hispanics who supposedly out number blacks in America.In the America of only 30 years ago,light,bright and almost white meant you were accepted as colored , which meant you were black and 40 years ago , young Mr. Woods, would probably been locked away as a darked skinned Negro nut with obviuos delusions for thinking himself, anything else.

Why is anyone defending infidelity? Though I like both A-Rod & Tiger as athletes, it does not excuse what they have done. Let’s not forget that Alex was caught NUMEROUS times while still MARRIED to his wife Cynthia the mother of his two children, with STRIPPERS, what happened to him NOTHING!! Michael Jordan was also dodging paternity suits & women, yet he’s still upheld as a respectable person. Society has it mixed up!

It is so funny to me that some of you get it and others don’t. Race has a VERY BIG PART in this factor. A-rod is a Dominican with African roots who thinks he is white. (Although he has dated a Black women before while he was married to his ex-wife Cynthia).
The problem here is history has stated time and time again that if you are Black you will pay a more servere price than that of persons who are non-Black. Read the statement from gee poteat who is 100% right. But of course those of you who are not Black or should I say persons of color whould never understand. You don’t have to because all you do is walk around petending nothing never happened through out history. A-rod only dates white women in public because he has emotional issues he has to deal with and in part he is winning cause no matter what anyone says he has money, privelege and some power. It’s sad cause I think he should date all women not just one kind of woman. But to each his own. He is still a good ball player and so is Tiger.
