Tiger's high school sweetheart recalls romance; prom photo is wondrous

So I’m kind of behind the curve on this one — by about 17 years — but the girl that Tiger Woods took to his senior prom has come out and told her story to at least two publications over the past couple of days, and I share them with you now. The reason? Just that I think it’s refreshing that a good-looking blonde is coming forward with a Tiger story that doesn’t involve cheating on his wife.
Dina Gravell (pictured in yearbook photo) met Woods in 1992 when she was 17 and he was 16, both attending Western High School in Anaheim. They dated for three years before Tiger wrote her a Dear John letter. On paper! It was a simpler time.

It was fire and flames. We were in teenage love. It wasn’t love at first sight. It wasn’t a physical thing,” Gravell once told an interviewer.
But romance blossomed in the weeks to come as they lunched together and hung out with a circle of friends.
A sheepish Woods finally stepped up his game by asking Gravell to go to a movie.
Tiger ended the evening with an awkward embrace.
“At the end of the night I had to ask him: ‘Well, was that a date?’ He was all shy and embarrassed,” Gravell. “As we said goodbye, it was really awkward. You could tell he didn’t know whether to lunge for a kiss or not. So we had a hug instead.”
Gravell went on to say that Tiger’s parents made him end the relationship after he left for Stanford, because they were afraid she was a distraction. If they only knew that hot blondes tend to improve his game.

No you are writing this crap, because 1. you are not a sports writer & 2. You are about as credible now as the Star or National Enquirer. Who cares what goes on between him and his wife behind closed doors. Tiger Woods has done what men have been doing for years, he just got caught. There are alot more important things going on in the world, we should be focusing on that. It has been three weeks today and the media/news are still stalking Tiger.

All this stuff is irrelevant and stupid. The irony of the Tiger Woods Saga is that the loser in all of this is us; not Tiger.
Tiger has more money (even if she takes half) than all of us will ever have, COMBINED. He has more accolades and trophies than all of us will ever have, COMBINED.
Tiger has made golf interesting for billions of people that wouldn’t have otherwise cared. He has motivated individuals of ALL races to take up a sport that has historically been dominated by white men. Tiger has been the greatest thing in golf, since, well golf. Golf without Tiger is both unexciting and uninspiring.
The losers in all of this are golf fans. The winners are tabloids and the stupid people that read them.

Rick Chandler, why reach back to his HS days? This has nothing to do with this issue? (and im sick of reading about it personally)
Tiger has created this “secret” image over his career, now people have gotten a peek into it, the public wants to know more. But for the media to hound him like a pack of wolf’s over this, thats sick!
Tell some of you what, start a blog of what you and your spouse do in the bedroom and post pictures? Is that any of my business? NO!

Oh, and to top all this off, he’s also implicated of HGH/steroid use by his doctor that was busted a couple of days ago. It does explain a muscular physique as compared to 5 years ago.
Bottom line, the man is a fraud, both morally and physically.

I may start watching golf because Tiger. I thought he was a dork but it turns out he’s a stud and a player. I have more respect for him and golfers in gerenal now. Let the wife go, she’s hot, but he obviously has no problem getting laid. Drop Nike and pick up Trojan as a sponsor and be who you are Tiger.

Tiger was a nerd when he was younger. My theory is that once he hit it big and went on the juice and got all big and buff, he realized he could get any woman he wanted and proceeded to do just that. This is a classic case of nerd who gets some muscles and money and sows his oats after his marriage. He’s a complete tool.

WoW how important is that some guy can hit a little white ball better than most others?
Let see him match something like landing on the Moon for the first time with the tank running on empty.
