Just as it is with sponsor Accenture, is Tiger Woods’ marriage already over? Elin Nordegren was seen in public for the first time since Tiger’s car crash on Nov. 27, and one sharp-eyed photographer — they’re trained to look for such things, I suppose — noticed that she wasn’t wearing her wedding ring (dramatic music here). Elin was taking the couple’s two children to a Christmas party in Florida on Saturday, according to the London Sun, which ran the picture on Sunday. She stopped for some “petrol,” — can we start calling it that over here? — and her left hand was suspiciously naked. As you can see in the photo, that’s quite a rock, by the way.
Is Elin going the way of Accenture, Gillete and Gatorade?
But reports this weekend said Elin, 29, has already spoken to divorce lawyers and is planning a split in the New Year.
She hid her pain behind sunglasses as she made the car trip from the couple’s £1.7million home in Windermere with Sam, two, and Charlie, ten months.
A source said: “She’s putting on a brave face but she’s hurting terribly.
“Tiger is doing everything he can to save his marriage but I can’t see them getting through this. The wounds are too deep.”
As seen on a golf message board this morning: “Did Elin stop off and see Chumlee of Pawn Stars?

Whole situation is so sad, but actions have consequences. If I were in Elin’s shoes, I would see a divorce lawyer and end the marriage too. Tiger’s career and life will never be the same.

Keeper12, we should stone a moron like you too. It’s spelled “publicly” if you’ve managed to pass 3rd grade.

Tiger should work with her on the divorce. She married for money, he married for the image. Neither of them should be married. She can raise the kids and he can visit. It is what it is, a sham marriage from the start.

Are you kidding me? I’m truly not understanding why you people are putting him on such a pedistal…he is no different than any other CREAP that cheats….Men and Women have cheated since the beginning of time. I’m in no way saying it’s okay but get over it already he’s a human being….This does not effect his ability to play the game of golf….WOW it’s amazing what the public sees as a crisis.

Unfortunatly, people of envy like to see people at the top fall. Please pray that both Tiger and Elin can get past this very bad decision of Tiger Woods to have affairs with multiple women while in a sacred bond of marraige and that our prayers are answered for all parties affected by Tigers actions. Both Tiger and Elin will always be the parents of the children and will need to conclude to continue that responsibilty and love them dearly. Everyone makes mistakes and consequences are paid at the highest level and forgiven by the highest authority. They both need our support by prayer and submitted to the heavens.

Jon King – how do you know it was a sham marriage from the beginning? How do you know she married him for money? It’s okay to have suppositions, but don’t write them as fact. I feel sorry for his wife and kids. They are the blameless ones here.

O’, by the way – you start a sentence with a capital letter. Also, there are two spaces after a period. I believe they taught that in the 3rd grade also…

S&N4EVER, it’s actually the LOVE of money that is the root of all evil, not the money itself. And in this case, Money and Power.

inthetrenches- what kind of asshole are you, attacking someone’s comment on a website over a couple of letters!? God, get a life.
Anyway, I hope Elin is able to move on and get as much money as possible from Tiger. She stands to lose a lot because of the prenup but hopefully a judge will side with her and cite the circumstances as a reason to give her the full $85M (I think that’s the figure).

Ever stop to think that one of the other golfers turned him in? I’m not defending him, but there is millions ou ther to be made, at stake. Besides, he’s only human, maybe she wasn’t doing her part, in the marriage, it does take two.

Nope. The phrase is “Love” of money is the root of all evil, the radix malorum which so easily seduces and unravels men. Money is nothing. The use or misuse of money is everything. You can’t eat it, sleep with it, have it hold your hand when you’re down, etc. You can buy pretty much anything you want to, but another old truism is that you can’t buy happiness, and Woods is walking-around proof. His dollars won’t save him from this fiasco of his own undoing. Dollar bills don’t make good condoms, either. If I were Mizzis Woods, I’d see an infectious diseases specialist pronto.

The Lord NEVER said that “money is the root of all evil.” He said in the gospels as well as is stated in the Book of James: The LOVE of money is the root of all evil. It’s not a sin to be rich, but if money/wealth becomes your god and you are very selfish with it, then it is a sin.
