Hank Baskett and wife Kendra Wilkinson have baby boy. Baskett was absent from practice most of this week for “personal” reasons. Now we know why. The couple named the boy Hank Jr., and he weighed in at 9 pounds, 5 ounces and was 22 inches long at the time of birth. Damn! That’s a big friggin baby! [Stampede Blue]
* The Dallas sports scene is in shambles. Never before has the sports scene in Dallas been so much in shambles. Believe me when I say, there are plenty of sports fans in north Texas, and other various points around the world, disappointed in some way with the various Dallas teams, none the least of which are the Dallas Cowboys. * Nick Swisher Might Drag CC Sabathia Onto Awful CBS Sitcom. This is what passes for comedy nowadays? I liked “How I Met Your Mother” a lot better the first time I saw it, when it was called “Friends”. Really, I don’t expect much from Mr. Swisher but I’m personally embarrassed for Mr. Sabathia. He’s got far too much taste and credibility and should be doing guest spots on “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” [Walkoff Walk]
