White House party crasher chick infiltrated Redskins cheerleaders?

Nov 30, 2009, 2:30 PM EST

It was in the film Zorro, the Gay Blade in which Bernardo, dressed as an aquatic animal, tries to sneak into to a costume party without an invitation, prompting the immortal line: “May I see your invitation, senor beaver?” Apparently it’s much easier to sneak into official White House functions, as seen pictured to the right.
That’s Michaele Salahi meeting the President, who got in without an invitation along with husband Tareq Salahi, causing all sorts of consternation with the Secret Service. But that’s not the only thing she’s crashed, according to TMZ.

Here’s a photo of Michaele Salahi posing as a member of the Redskins cheerleaders during halftime of a game in 2005. The problem is that the Redskins have no record of Salahi ever being a cheerleader.
From TMZ:

Salahi had told people she was a member of the squad back in the ’90s, but team officials have no record proving her claim.

However, these photos make it clear she was successful at passing herself off as one — because the event she crashed was to honor Redskins cheerleader alumni.

We’re told Michaele and her husband, fellow crasher Tareq Salahi, had a private box at the stadium and invited some of the cheerleaders back to the their seats to hang out after the halftime performance.

There are worse impersonation crimes, to be sure: Such as fake doctor, fake airline pilot, or worst of all, fake woman. It’s a disorder, and there’s a clinical name for it, I’m sure. I’m sure my fake psychiatrist would know what it is.
The Salahis are trying to cash in on the White House thing, in case you haven’t heard. They’ve cancelled an appearance on Larry King and are shopping an interview for $500,000.

What is the difference between a pathological liar
and a impostor/gate crasher? We need to stop justifying immoral and unethical behavior by relating it to the achievement of
“celebrity,” as if success in that justifies any type of behavior.

Here you go again, Rick. Just like everyone else has been saying, what does this have to do with sports?
You know that Out of Bounds is my go-to sports news site. I mean, after espn.com, cbssports.com, foxsports.com, nfl.com, nba.com, mlb.com, nhl.com, nascar.com, cnnsi.com, sports.yahoo.com, the sports page of every major city’s local paper, and the nbcsports.com main page.
Please change the content of your site to reflect what is already taking place hundreds of other places. Thank you.

Also, being able to put in breaks would make my comments seem much wittier.

    Yes please, Rick.
Anything to make this guy laugh at his words even more.

  6. Chris - Nov 30, 2009 at 4:58 PM

Point of this article is that it too is posing…as a sports story.

Another thing, Threat Level: Midnight, when you visit someone else’s house, you don’t ask them to redecorate the place to suit your likings do ya? If you don’t like the digs or whats in it, you know where the door is.

“By now you may have guessed I’m speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life Cereal do not change a thing.”

/first one was a joke (and a bad one, apparently)
//second one was to cover what wound up looking like one jumbled paragraph

These people should be prosecuted. If BRAVO assisted them they should also be investigated and prosecuted if possible. THey are more than posers…they have embarrassed this nation, our President during a state dinner, caused more than one firing of career Secret Service staff and generally caused mayhem in their attempt at personal gain. They are worse than scum.

I can understand people kind of being weirded out by this, but why isn’t anyone complaining about the fact that White House security didn’t manage to detect this and prevent it? If some random couple who simply wanted to get into a party could pull this off, what about someone with a more serious rationale who potentially has greater motivation to go out of their way to gain this kind of access – doesn’t that say something about the level of security in place?

  11. Jeff - Nov 30, 2009 at 5:55 PM

They are scum & should be prosecuted but I disagree with your comment about causing more than one firing of career Secret Service staff. The Secret Service staff that allowed them access to that party should be fired for such dereliction of duty. Their total lack of doing their job is what got them fired & I hope they were fired. Is it so hard checking names on a list especially when they didn’t even have tickets?

I agree with Jeff – totally!

No worries TLM, I was on your wavelength from the beginning. Some uninitiated readers may need the tags, however.

    Aw jeez, Chandler,
Did you really just say that drag queens have a clinical disorder? It’s almost 2010.
