Ole Miss approves KKK rally on day of LSU game. This, of course, will end well

Nov 19, 2009, 5:00 PM EDT

If you’re planning on doing some tailgating on the Ole Miss campus on Saturday before the LSU football game, you might want to start a little later than usual. Unless, that is, you want to share your tri-tip with the Ku Klux Klan.
Nothing worse than opening your Weber grill and finding most of your barbecued wieners are missing. Damn it KKK, I know it was you! I see mustard on your hoods!
What was the University of Mississippi thinking when it approved a Klan rally from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday on campus, with the LSU game scheduled for 3 that same afternoon? Most schools split their hate group gatherings and athletic events to separate days.

The Klan is gathering to protest the university’s decision to remove the song From Dixie With Love from the marching band’s play selection.
Fortunately, Klan leaders seem to be calm and measured about the whole thing.

“We aren’t coming there to cause problems or cause trouble,” said Shane Tate, the North Mississippi great titan for the Mississippi White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. “Trouble has already been caused by a handful at Ole Miss, including the black student body president, who wants to shape Ole Miss into yet another liberal sodomite college.”

I thought I spotted the school president carrying a looseleaf binder with the title “Secret Sodomy Plans.”
By the way, the song was banned by the university because students wouldn’t stop chanting “The South will rise again!” while it was playing. The administration’s preferred chant, “To hell with LSU!,” was largely ignored.
Look Klan, if the South hasn’t risen by now, it’s not going to. Forget about it and move on to your other activities.
There is nothing more distasteful than the extreme protest methods and hate speech of the Ku Klux Klan … or wait, I might be thinking of PETA. At any rate, I believe Bruce Pearl would agree with me.
We leave you now with this post on LSU’s Tiger Droppings message board:

a few years back I witnessed someone tagging an overpass with “KKK”. upon my return less than a week later The Tag was converted to BBKing. I regret i did not have any means of photographing the work

KKK, NAACP…all the same thing. Both spout hatred and racism. Its time to do away with both. And for those Southerners will say the South will rise again? It’s ALREADY risen! And I’m a Southerner!

  2. BarbaroToPlace - Nov 19, 2009 at 7:24 PM

I’d like to see a klan hood with about fourteen eyeholes, like Charlies Brown’s ghost costume in that peanuts special.

  3. flowerpot1929 - Nov 19, 2009 at 8:18 PM

The Black students and atheletes are to blame, why would they chose to attend such a school?

  8. Allgood63 - Nov 20, 2009 at 8:55 AM

I read these post daily and I sit and wonder why? Why would you want to waste valuable time protesting something so minor! One should be spending their time with their children, grandchildren or loved ones. We spend too much time on doing nothing!!!

  9. terryb101 - Nov 20, 2009 at 10:29 AM

if the retarted media wouldnt show up and get people riled up over these groups, then these people would go away, after all they only come out because they know the media will be there to give them air time..just like when a player scores a touchdown all the guys run to him cause they know the camera is on him and they can get on tv

  10. Jim - Nov 20, 2009 at 11:02 AM

Yeah, that darn retarted media, with their lack of punctuation and syntax and they mayke me so mad!!!!

  11. wally george hannity - Nov 20, 2009 at 11:48 AM

    Hey America,
If you are against this you hate america. Our freedoms of speech and association are sacred. Why can’t teabaggers ger dressed up for a good old fashion american football game?

  12. KKKSUX - Nov 20, 2009 at 1:03 PM

Hey KKK, ONLY PUNKS COVER THEIR UGLY MUGS.
    SUCK IT KKK

  13. Rick Chandler - Nov 20, 2009 at 1:13 PM

    That’ll teach ‘em.

  14. Dan - Nov 20, 2009 at 3:49 PM

Let me guess you’re a Sean Hannity fan? figures. The KKK amount to a criminal organization that perpetrattes violence and intimidation. Freedom of speech doesnt protect words that incite violence or various forms of hate speech. Get your story straight.

  15. wally george hannity - Nov 20, 2009 at 4:07 PM

    Dan,
Your a typical lefty bystanding sympathizer. You are all the same trying to control what everybody else has to say. You don’t advocate freedom of speech if somebody disagrees with you. That’s why people like you are standing by while we turn into a socialist dictatorship.Get your story straight the first amendment isn’t just about speech, its also about freedom of assembly. The courts have continually upheld their rights to assemble. And I am sorry pukes like you are intimidated by WE THE TEABAGGERS.

  16. Tarvin - Nov 20, 2009 at 5:02 PM

    Socialist dictatorship?
So there were no elections for Congress or President?

  17. wally george hannity - Nov 20, 2009 at 5:43 PM

    Tarvin,
You are an even sadder example than Dan, of how much this great nation has deteriorated. Socalist dictatorship. Yes. Castro and Cuba have elections. We have Obama and Acorn.

  18. Southern by Grace - Nov 20, 2009 at 6:48 PM

Hertiage is a right all the kkk is doing is trying to keep it alive if You don’t like then it’s your problem.

  19. Southern but ashamed - Nov 21, 2009 at 7:42 PM

Not sure what is worse, the KKK or some of the douchebag comments on this site. “Hannity” is a twit, Grace is an idiot and terryb is retarded. You losers need to get your stories straight, learn the constitution and the laws of this country and put away your hatred and racism.

  20. AvgWhiteGuy - Nov 23, 2009 at 5:21 PM

The South will rise again…. SERIOUSLY?! By 2020 whites will be the minority! You will rise alright… right out of the south to south dakota. The only thing you can still RISE are peoples blood pressures with hate speech. Jackson and Sharpton in my opinion are media whores that LOTS of blacks dont even like but they dont preach killing or doing harm to a specific race. Even Malcom X realized finally that hate against a race is ignorance. To support any group like the KKK or Ariyan Nation that isnt built to PROTECT whites as it claims but putting out HATE SPEECH and fuel crimes against minorities is frutile. This isnt the 50′s… bringing about slavery and lack of border and immigration control was your downfall. Instead of changing you resisted and still to this day have pipe dreams of some one nation babble when actually all you keep doing is keep packing yourselves into dense communities or forest areas, organize a handful of supporters, and talk big but but its just that… talk. The same “jews” you also hate run the companies you work for but everyone ELSE is the problem… not you. The who world isnt getting better and its not blacks, whites, latinos, asian, etc fault as one answer… its VARIOUS REASONS why the world is in the shape it is, by associating with them you just add to it and become hypocrites wanting something better but adding to the problem.

  21. SAVAGESKIN - Nov 24, 2009 at 2:18 AM

IT IS TOO BAD THE SCHOOL IN QUESTION ALLOWED SUCH AN ASSININE EVENT TO OCCUR AT ITS CAMPUS,GOES TO SHOW THE STATE OF MISS IS STILL IN A SAD STATE,IF IT IS NOT PART OF THE SOLUTION THEN IT OBVIOUSLY IS PART OF THE PROBLEM, AND SHOULD BE PUNISHED AS SUCH!!REMOVE THE ADMINSTRATION THAT MADE THESE DECISIONS.. MOST OF THESE HOODED REJECTS ARE TOO INBRED TO KNOW ANY DIFFERENT, ITS HOW THEIR BROUGHT UP,SOMEDAY THE EYE FOR AN EYE THING WILL GET OLD!!!ITS A LOVE HATE RELATIONSHIP WITHIN THEMSELVES,,THEY HATE WHO THEY ARE SO ACT OUT AGAINST OTHERS!! SAD , SAD, GIVE THE NATIVE PEOPLES THEIR LAND BACK!!! BRITISH GO BACK TO ENGLAND

  22. Really? - Nov 27, 2009 at 5:57 AM

NAACP and KKK are the same? Really? I dont support either organization, but I cant remember the last time the NAACP lynched a white person or killed a white boy for whistling at a black woman. Maybe its just me.

  23. thiet ke web - Sep 7, 2010 at 11:18 PM
