I haven’t picked up Bill Simmons’ new book, The Book of Basketball, but I hear that it’s quite the page-turner (No. 1 New York Times bestseller). His book signing tour has been quite eventful as well. Excerpt: “In Philly, I met the legendary NBA statistician Harvey Pollack, one of the few remaining people who witnessed Wilt’s 100-point game.”
But unfortunately that column was written before this: On Monday Simmons was visited at one his signings by a porn star whose name I won’t mention, because this is a family blog. Here’s a link to a (safe for work) photo of her (via The Big Lead) … any other searches you’ll have to do on your own. Good thing Harvey didn’t see her: It might have killed him.
No word on what body parts were signed.
