I’ve always said it: Things are a lot more interesting when the Phillies are in the World Series. You’ve got your drunken pinheads falling off the roof of cabs; your random fan taking a vodka bottle to the head; and of course this — woman offering sex on Craigslist in exchange for Series tickets.
And what a woman. Upper deck, row 17, seats 23 and 24, I’d say. Of course you can’t really … hey! Get away from that phone, Steve Phillips!
Here’s Finkelstein’s Craigslist ad:
“DESPERATE BLONDE NEEDS WS TIX (Philadelphia)
“Diehard Phillies fan-gorgeous tall buxom blonde- in desperate need of two World Series Tickets. Price negotiable– I’m the creative type! Maybe we can help each other!”
When an undercover policeman responded by phone, Finkelstein offered to perform “various sex acts” in exchange for tickets. It’s unknown whether that included parking. Finkelstein was arrested and charged today.
The larger issue here seems to be: Philadelphia has the resources to pay cops to browse through Craigslist all day? The crime rate must be microscopic.
